Very nice
It looks great on top of my tool chest. It was made for this exact chest. The product is ever so slightly short of covering the entire top, however it centers well and doesn't slide around. The materials are very good, and thick. The only word I would use to describe it is quality. The best part is that it has the little throw back nod to one of my favorite childhood shows. I will definitely buy another when I start my next tool chest build.

Excellent and comfortable bench mat. Heavy use with caution. Excellent for the right use case
Overall a really nice and well constructed bench mat. Yes it has a gigantic mouse pad feel to it but thats not necessarily a bad thing... Feels good. Nice padding. Quality look and feel. Handles water ok if you're quick to remove. Oil I suspect the same. Clean quick and you will have no issues. Let sit and maybe not so much. In fact it's so resistant the manufacturers logo was coming off out of the package. Clearly even screen print doesn't stick to it :). With the right expectations and use case this is quality and A+. Heavy work environment, bouncing greasy, grimy tools and the like on it maybe with caution.

overpriced
its bacically a giant mousepad. the picture makes it look like a durable tool chest topper but its not durable at all and looks like it is going to be a pain to keep clean on a workbench where small particulates and liquids are common. this is just a sponge to attract all that crap

good design
I bought this for my 60" Husky Adjustable Height Workbench. The wood on these workbenches looks so good that i'm always cringing when i put a scrape or gauge into them. I wish that i would have had these for all my worktops from the get go

Thick pad.
This pad is thick and nicely padded. It has some sort of nylon material on the top and is stitched all around the edge. While this has a nice appearance, I’m not sure how well it will wear or if it would tear if snagged. Because of the material and stitching this pad cannot be cut or modified to fit different sizes so make sure of your sizing before purchasing.

Great mat
The mat has withstood some minor abuse in the ahort time I have had it. It appears to be able to withstand heavy parts, grease and oil. The oil and grease cleanup was as expected and not difficult to do.The mat arrived in great condition and was not overly compressed, so it laid out nicely and in no time was laying flat.I have worked on starters, distributors, alternators and carburetors so far. The mat has held up to cleaners, grease and gasoline without showing signs of wear.I have high hopes that this mat will last a long time- I will update if anything changes.

Handsome looking mat. Not oil or water resistant at all.
This mat is very good looking but it is not oil or water resistant. It is a rubber mat with a wet suit like material on top. The edges are nicely sewn together. When you wet it, the water soaks in and you must blot it out with a paper towel. I dare not put oil on it, it will be trapped between the fiber and the rubber and destroy the rubber.I have 3 toolboxes like the one pictured, this one went on top of my 3D printer cart because it will never see oil or water. If this was advertised as something else, it would have gotten 5 starts for its build quality alone. For it's advertised use I am not sure who would want a mat like this since it gets wet and dirty.

Covers my butcherblock workbench
I have a maple butcherblock workbench in the garage, but it has gotten pretty dinged up and stained. So this is perfect for covering it and making a more pleasant work surface.

The advertising made it look like a toolbox when it was just a rubberized cover
It might’ve been worth five dollars
