Jack Wolfskin Women's Mantel Crystal Iceguard Women down

I had this very same jacket about 6 years ago and found it was the best jacket ever for walking my dogs. Very warm, great fit and kept me really dry in the wet, this was the reason I bought another one exactly the same. Well what a disappointment- have Jack Wolfskin really gone downhill? This jacket is really poor quality compared to my first one - it’s much thinner material and the fit is not as good and definitely not as warm. Well sad to say it will be the last Jack Wolfskin jacket I will buy 😒😒

There's a lot to love about this coat+ light+ warm+ good length+ nice colour (brown - mocha)+ somewhat water resistant; enough to keep dry on a short bike ride in winter rainNot great- the upper arms are really widely cut; even with comparatively big arms for my size the fabric bulks weirdly because there's far too much of it (looks a little worse than in the photo, but you can see it there, too)- poor quality zip- the XS is more like an S

Bought a size up am a 10 and i got a medium because i went to a store and tried a JW different style first and new I would need to upsize. This coat is amazing, its really warm, smart. looks great, fits nicely. lovely texture and color there is nothing budget about it, I have worked in clothing manufacturing and this just reeks of good quality and production. I am so happy with it. The Heather i darker than the picture but its better.

Lovely and warm, fairly weatherproof unless if a proper downpour and great for cold UK winter (room for a thick jumper and I got my usual size). Shiny fabric, but not too much so - good semi fitted shape and a two way zip.

One year after... one of the buttons is broken. It is not able to fix it. Shame. Completely disappointment.In a high street shop I would be able to send it and I would have a chance to repair it but no here!shame

Felt good as soon as you put it on with the soft wrist cuff. Good length, warm and waterproof. The zip can be undone from the bottom so its great for driving when you don't want to be restricted when sitting. A detachable hood would have been preferable. Haven't washed it yet but so far so good. Zip doesn't get stuck either (unlike some other brands).

Great coat very pleased good quality finish and fits great sleeves are long enough which is often a problem for me but not with this coat

The coat was brilliant - extremely lightweight/slimming/long length/very warm. I reluctantly sent it back because the Large size I ordered was a little bit on the small side so if you were to wear a fleece underneath it was too tight.
