Works great
I've used this on walnut plywood for cabinets i made. Unbelievable how well it brings out the grain with out doing staining and polyurethane.Water and stain resistant. This is good stuff.

100% tung oil
Stood in Home Depot and read all of the products saying they’re tung oil. They are not 100%. Found this product here on amazon while standing in the store and ordered it on the spot. Used it on butcher block counter tops that are being refinished and it looks good. Went on easy, no overpowering chemical smell.

Easy to use, no chemical odor
This is the first time I recall using tung oil, and I found it easy to use. There is no chemical smell like there with so many finishes. It brushed on easily and dried in a reasonable time. The tung oil brought out the grain and color of the oak that I used it on, giving it a slightly darker color.

Just what I've been looking for
So I built this chopping block surface for my kitchen island, and until now, I had been using all mineral oil based products and not fully satisfied, as it always felt kinda filmy ( didn't really make me want to use the surfaces for meal prep or baking ), always galled up my sand paper when trying to refinish, and the level of water-proofing and stain-resistance was questionable. SO I started doing research and found that Tung oil is a food-safe alternative that is far better than the mineral oil, or mineral oil and wax finishes...One of the things I loved, straight away, was the appearance... The cured surface is matte, but yet, it brings out the beautiful, almost opalescent luster of the maple grain. But further, once dry, water beads right up and sits on top of the surface, instead of wicking in. This gives ample time to be able to do clean-up without staining or rings. Most of all, the lack of filmy residue makes the surface much cleaner and easy to maintain, and it actually makes one more confident using it for its intended purpose, which is food prep and baking. I will certainly buy this again, when it comes time, and now that the block has been fully refurbished and the base is down, the next pass will probably only be a wipe-coat after a light scuff with some gray scotch-brite or 00 steel wool.Definitely pleased with the results, even after a full month and MANY loaves of sourdough later

good quality
good deal for the money and good quality. I don`t have a world of experience with tung oil but I`m very pleased with this as far as what I`m getting for results. I`ve done 5 coats onto a sanded surface and it is a quality and very fine looking finish

Concrete countertops
I bought this for my concrete kitchen countertops. (I applied about 10 coats, as the concrete kept absorbing it.) It holds up well, but I have to reapply it to areas where the soap has been on for more than a few hours. I'm careful not to put anything hot or chemicals on it. I assume it would damage it. It repels water. Overall, I'm pleased with the results.

No more squeaky tongue!
Quality tongue oil. It's not the most easy-to-use finish but it is one of the most beautiful. It made the mahogany I was using it on really pop.

Read Label
Tung Oil should be food safe after it fully cures. Warning on label gives instructions on emergency protocol if ingested. That caused concern and I therefore never used on kitchen utensils as planned. Seller kind enough to respond and offer help for my order. In retrospect, I am guessing the label represents issues if ingested from bottle or before fully cured though I am not 100% sure.
