This hair gel is a great product that is well made, smells great, and dries with a medium-firm hold. The structure of this gel does not dry into a complete harden hold compared to other gel products and when combed out there is no remaining gel residue or sticky/rough texture on the surface of the hair. If you like to stylize your hair with a conditioner and hair gel for a medium-firm hold you may like this Blackwood hair gel that smells like freshness.

Tried the moisturizing shampoo by this brand, and it worked so well I decided to get the gel for my husband too. It has a nice strong, long lasting hold, which a lot of gels have I guess. But what I liked about this (and he did too) is that it doesn't cause flakes after it dries. Have had trouble with that before. Also, it seems like it doesn't make his hair as crunchy as some gels. More natural.

I opted to try this based on the description and other reviews. I like the way it works in my hair.Holds well and it's not sticky nor leaves my hair shiny.My only complaint is that it smells bad out of the tube. I have not noticed it after applying to my hair and washing my hands. It doesn't have a pleasant odor prior to application.I will continue to use it but wouldn't purchase again with this scent. It doesn't list a scent, this is the only option I'm aware of.

I purchased this for my husband when it was on sale at ULTA. He has not stopped using this product.

After using my Blackwood hair gel for a week now, I'm thoroughly impressed with the product and angry with myself for not ordering earlier. My hair looks/feels great and no heavy sticky residue. My wife even commented on how good my hair was looking lately. Starting to look into other Blackwood products now.

I am currently on my second tube of this hair gel.Like it as it is easy to apply, has a light scent and holds reasonably well., especially for people with fine hair.And if you wish to impart some luster to your hair, one can apply a very small amount ofa hair brilliantine, Yardley English Lavender works well but so would any brilliantine.Just a dab will be enough.Recommend this product.
