Kept the sticky plastic on both sides, makes it lovely and rigid hopefully will protect for long term use. As you can see in my pic still perfectly readable with plastic kept on. Very happy with purchase, may cut up the colours I don't prefer to make smaller on the go use.

Like the color variety; to each his or her own. I used these with my children during their elementary years. My oldest asked me about them, reminding me that we had actually made them for our school's Reading Teacher to share with her students. We decided to look for them on Amazon and we're delighted to find and order them immediately! I have Macular Degeneration and using these overlays again has eased my eyestrain. They are not a cure, but my eyes are happier when I use mine :-)
