Marantec 65892 Garage Door Opener Remote by Garage Door Parts

It was very easy to set up and install. So nice to be able to push a button and drive into my garage instead of getting out, opening the front door and going out thru the garage. I wish I had started looking on this site first.

bought this to replace an identical remote that was lost: replacement came with a programming tool that consisted of a small bar that had six pins, 3 on each side. hooked 3pins on one side to the old one and 3 pins to the new one and new one was instantly programmed to replicate the functions of the original

We had the garage door installed 10 years ago and one of the transmitters stopped working. My husband tried to fix it but couldn't get it to work.I called the garage door manufacturer and found out Marantac made the transmitter for them.Found it on Amazon. It's super easy to connect following the enclosed instruction.That said, it was quite expensive. Hopefully, it will last another 10 years.

My daughter lost both garage door remotes for our Marantec garage door opener and had universal remotes that I tried to program and it didn’t work so bought this one and even though it changed the code in the cars I at least was able to pair the remote to the garage door and then the remote to the cars and finally have the extra remote! Happy happy happy!

I like the remote it’s compact and works well.

Use as a dupljcate from the original. We just used the wire provided to actjvate the product

Upon receipt of product, attempted transfer from old to new remote. New and old remote are inoperables. Seller did provide a couple of you tube videos on how to reprogram old remote to the garage door opener. all attempts to reprogram old remote failed. Now stuck with remote garage door opener. Would not recommend buying. You're better off buying a new Genie system at Lowe's for $ 159.00. Two remotes included.
