Do these lights come with a switch?

No they don't, only a short wire out of the back. You would need to buy the switch and wires separately

I know these are similar to LP6 how do they compare to name brand? Also same as in picture?

Have had mine for couple months seem built well . No problems yet . U get the same what u c in the picture. Use the amberdrl’s every day. Would buy again

Can these lights be hung from their bracket instead of sitting on the bracket as shown in all the photos?

Yes just loosen bracket and rotate light , or remove bracket and flip it.
