ON Position - won't switch off after 5 mins
Good quality, however, the description says "When the car is ignited, the power cord begins to output power; After the car is turned off for 5 minutes, the power cord will automatically stop supplying power and turn off the output. " which is not accurate. After I switched off the car, I went to do my shopping for well over 5 mins and when I came back the dashcam was still turned on. This is indeed strange - I had to disconnect the cam as I was worried my battery would die if I left it overnight.Edit: Definitely not turning off after 20 mins of engine stop. I went to work and forgot to switch off the camera and it stayed on for the whole day.When I check the timestamps it has been recording all day long.

Update:.Does no maintain power when car is off.
Six weeks and cable failed all together Avoid.Does not maintain power when car off and when in this setting it keeps power cycling so useless.Works okay if you only want power while driving
