Habitrail Ovo Den, Fun, Safe, Easy-to-Use Hamster Cage

Very well made and a must-have if you have more than one hamster habitat!They lock securely, remove easily, and are a breeze to clean. These locking rings are much better than those made by CritterTrail.Habitrail Ovo components are well thought out and will certainly last for years to come. Have extra rings handy so you don't have to be running to the store when you lose one, OR, for that masterpiece of a cage expansion.We have every Habitrail made and they are all connected together, I was originally frustrated by not having enough connector locks, so we bought several packs of these. They are not the same ring colors that come with your Habitrail OVO habitats, they are brighter and more colorful. So, not a direct color-match.I definitely recommend them to anyone with Habitrail Cages... they will fit all of them, including the Dwarf Hamster Habitat.

I bought this to add into my Kaytee CritterTrails habitat. I had a hrad time figuring out whether it would link up. It definitely links very securely with a ring and a tube, but does not fit securely onto the newer molded-in mounting brackets that are right on the CritterTrail habitats. But the tube is fine, all my little guys like having the extra horizontal length before getting into the Ovo. My gerbil uses it exclusively for sleeping. It's really great because I can open it really easily to get her in/out, and can seal it up to transport her around to hold her or when I need to clean her cage. My daughter's mice alternately use it for sleeping den, food storage, and bathroom. Seems like every time she cleans the cage they switch what they want to use it for. It easily holds 3 mice, but the 4th and 5th have to sleep somewhere else. That was actually a big plus though. When they're not all getting along, some mice can use the intended sleeping box that CritterTrails put into their habitat and the rest can use th Ovo.

These accessories are the perfect addition to our Habitrail Cristal hamster home. The ovo locks are awesome! They really do lock things in place, but you may have to tinker with them a bit until you understand the feel of a good lock. I love how crystal clear the habitrail products are. We can see our little hamster doing everything he does best. The little green pod is just adorable and seems to be the perfect nest. He drags all kinds of nesting material to it and curls up in the center of the ball. It has an easy opening with a good, solid lock/closure. Since we have a dwarf hamster, we have these parts horizontal with the cage - I worry he wouldn't be able to climb up/down vertically very well, but we honestly haven't tried it. They are super easy to break apart and clean. Recommend to anyone looking to expand their habitrail habitat!

The most frustrating part about this piece is that it comes in two pieces (as all Habitrail tubes do). This can be a royal pain in the butt when trying to connect tubes to it. I've found if you connect two of the caps to it first, then connect your first tube to a side (so it will hold it together) it is much easier.This piece gives you lots of options to build from -- there are 5 open spaces, the bottom is solid plastic. The piece is pretty transparent, when I had the bottom piece as the "bottom" of a long tube, my hammies freaked out a little bit and looked like they weren't sure if there really was a "bottom" or not. They then pulled bedding over to the bottom of it and slept in it.The connectors will attach to other tunnel openings as well, which comes in handy when you are cleaning out just certain sections of the cage. You can remove this part and then put a cap over the opening until you come back to replace it.The connectors on Habitrail are a little harder to connect than Critter Trail, and take some practice. I recommend practicing with the connectors away from small children and hamsters ;)

I love this tower for my hamster cage. The tubes are very spacious for my Syrian hamster and the locks to connect them are very secure. My hamster loves to sleep and spend time in the den and it is the perfect size for him, even with his larger size. I like that it has a snap closure on both ends of the cup (tube side for cleaning and opposite side for open den) so you know your hammie wont escape. It's extremely easy to clean; the green lid folds back and snaps closed on the tube end to prevent entry to the den and the white cup slides out. It took all of 5 minutes to dump the old bedding and food hoard out, wipe clean, add new shavings and slide back into the top part of the den. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and easy to maintain hideout for their hamster!

La jaula está genial pero añadiéndole otra guarida mi peque está de maravilla y lo mejor de todo es que es muy fácil de limpiar.Como se suele decir duerme entre algodones.

Purtroppo ho fatto il reso perché gli altri accessori che ho in possesso sono per 6cm di diametro e questi sono più piccoli e quindi non si fissavano.Fate dunque attenzione prima di acquistarli!
