Working so far

Unacceptable quality of build. The photos and video show the first two plugs from a four pack. From the pictures it is clear that the center electrode is not centered to the body, this is likely to cause spark path to be erratic and result in incomplete combustion and fouling. The pictures also show poor welding on the ground electrode, and poor machining after the weld. The weld slag indicates incomplete penetration during weld. This could easily result in detachment from the spark plug body inside the cylinder resulting in catastrophic damage. At best the poorly machined slag will likely foul the threads. The lack of printed specifications on the exposed insulator suggests there is no spec. For engines that are used under light load and intermittently, the heat range of the plug affects emissions, warm up times, and plug and piston fouling. In an industrial engine that is run near its peak torque and under maximum load, a spark plug that has the wrong heat range can reduce power and even overheat the heads or piston top. I was not willing to even test these. I cannot confirm their internal resistance. I cannot confirm if they function at all. My small equipment is valuable, and I won't use a spark plug that is so poorly constructed.
