Autan Family Care Stick 50 millititer

I like using a stick form more than roll-on or spray, but they changed the active ingredient from Deet to something else that was said to be as good at repelling insects. This may be true for most insects but the things that bite me [and I do not know what they are as I cannot feel the bite at the time, and it takes 24 to 48 hours for a small red bite with a large swollen area that itches and burns terribly for a week to appear] are not repelled at all. So I applied the stick and then spent the next two weeks feeling ill from the effects of these bites. I only know of one other person in this area who gets bitten by these things, and it appears that only Deet will keep them from biting. So this new formula Autan is useless to me.

Autan is good stuff but difficult to obtain. It took a long time to arrive.

I'm apparently very delicious to gnats and midges but since using this I have not noticed any bites. Smells better than the supermarket spray that I was using. Actually there's very little smell at all. Much prefer it.

Always use this - it works well and smells nice, unlike other makes.
