Pooch Clocker Spaniel Yellow Wall Clock

The real name for this clock is called KLOCKER SPANIEL originally made in the 1950's and electric and was a quality product. Look for the electric one. So much better than the Pooch Clocker Spaniel battery operated one.

The original "Klocker Spaniel" is no longer made. This is a great reproduction. The original was a plug in the wall model. We had one, but the motor died and it was no longer repairable. The battery powered motors (there are two) on this clock may not be as well built, but they do not require the unsightly cord hanging down. Unless you are a collector, this clock is a better deal. Much cheaper than the original, and battery powered. We wanted a red one to replace the old clock, but it is not made in red. I think that red was the most attractive color on these clocks. Reaching back to my model car building youth, I disassembled the clock and painted it red with white highlights. Now we have our old clock back just the way we want it. I reduced a star because it is not made in red.

The clock was a gift .The eyes moved but the tail did not, so I looked it over and found the problem I removed a small plastic part that was getting in the way, using an emery board till it was gone. It works perfectly now. It is so cute.
