Good long pins
I use these primarily for machine sewing, and they're perfect. They're quite long, and quite thin, so they don't get in my way if I'm sewing something that has to be pinned as I sew. The yellow tabs make them very easy to handle, and also, I can find them easily if I drop one on the floor! They're quite fine, so I imagine over time/use I'll end up bending them but I will replace if/when that happens. Good price, plenty of pins, quite happy with them!

good quality pins for quilters.
I decided to go with a name brand instead of saving a few dollars on something else and I am glad I did. these pins do exactly what I wanted them for which is holding together up to 6 layers of fabric for kaleidoscope quilts. they are very sharp, strong and not prone to bending. The flat flower head is easy to hold on to and they look cute in my handmade pincushions.

Wonderful idea for quilting
Wonderful idea for quilting! I make a lot of quilts and had made my own number system. I could not pass up buying these when I saw the price. The quality is great and the idea of directional arrows is genius! Bought additional for a gift.

Used to be great pins, but not this batch!
I was disappointed from the moment I inserted the first pin. It had such drag, you'd think these things were dipped in an acid etch after they were made! I'm not exaggerating. Years ago I bought a set of these same pins and have used them exclusively for my sewing and quilting projects. They were (are) the best pins I could ask for. I wanted to plump up my stock a bit, as it had dwindled over time, what with the occasional irreparably bent one, or flower head falling off. I confidently opened this new pack and dumped them on top of my old ones, in their magnetic holder thing. Wow, was THAT a mistake. I was able to cull them out simply by pinning something, though. The old ones (still amazingly sharp and smooth) slid right in like nothing, while the ones from this new pack grabbed like an emery-board needle - if you can imagine such a thing. What gives? I'm not returning them for a couple bucks, plus I'd already thrown out all the packaging stuff, but I'm pretty grumpy. Do I seriously have to test-drive a box of these flower head pins in Joann Fabric, to be sure that Dritz isn't just making them poorly, these days?

Disappointed
I was excited to order these. When they arrived I took one out and it was blunt, no sharp end at all. I have only used a few so there may be more. They are very thin, rather fragile considering how long they are. My main objection is that the numbers are printed on one side only. You have to keep twisting them around to see what row you are working on. For this price I would recommend trying a different brand.

Sturdy, thick, and long pins
I thought these were a great idea, but the pins are pretty thick compared to my preferred type. They are also pretty long, which is nice. I am sure they will occasionally prove useful, though, especially if teaching someone how to quilt.Their flat heads are actually fairly thick, not like the flower head flat pins, more like the thickness of a yellow ball head pin but with flat faces

Sharp and long
These work great with quilting projects. I used them to mark rows of my quilt. Nice and long, was able to go through 3 layers of flannel or cotton fabric and batting.

Leaves holes in fabric - do not buy
I purchased these because I needed some flat head pins. I saw good reviews on Amazon and I have other Dritz pins which are very nice. However, I noticed these were leaving large holes on my fabric. The shaft thickness seems about the same as my other Dritz pins so I thought maybe it was just a few pins or the fabric I was using. Now I'm trying to use them again with higher quality fabric and getting same issue. Unfortunately I'm slightly past the 30 day return policy so I'm stuck with them.

Eficientes
Me encantaron.

Not really sharp
I keep having to poke the fabric instead of going in like butter. Not really sharp. Beside being cute, I’ve seen better :(
