Hotel Chocolate the taste is as good as they look.Would recommend them either for so yourself as a decadent treat for youself ,or a beautiful gift for a special Friend

I have had this brand of chocolate in the past and it is very nice, and I will still be eating these over christmas - however the condition they arrived in was far less than perfect, the lower tape seal on the box was not in place and the chocolates themselves inside all seem to be covered by a white powder - on closer inspection I guess this is from chocolates themselves inside not being handled or stored well. At this price I would expect nothing less than perfect packaging / package contents.If I had more time before christmas and fewer other things to sort out I would probably be returning these right now, however I have more important things to worry about and as stated they are fortunately not a present for someone else (otherwise they would be returned immediately looking like they do). It is not likely I will use Hotel Chocolat again if quality control is this poor.I have attached pictures to details the condition they arrived in (not the greatest of image quality due to poor lighting but still show the state the product arrived in).*UPDATE 22/12/17* Have eaten some of the chocolates now and to be honest, these don't seem as good as the last hotel chocolat that I tasted (slabs ordered directly from them quite some time ago) - nothing more special than a bar of green and black's would be and tbh the green and blacks would be cheaper and their salted caramel chocolate is awesome..

Not much flavour, but well presented
Usually my family and I love Hotel Chocolat products, for example their hot chocolate, the Easter eggs etc, but these batons are really quite flavourless, like fancy plastic to be honest. Have debated taking them to work for someone else to enjoy instead but they were expensive so not sure. Shame, as their other products are great. The white chocolate batons aren't bad.

Best chocolate
Have bought these for years, tried and tested so much I thought I’d leave a review. I’m a dark chocolate fan, but my family weren’t, these however have converted them (not happy to share!). Good value and will continue buying for myself and as gifts.
