I picked up this Boom Arm Mic Stand for my podcast desk setup, and it’s made a huge difference compared to using a standard mic stand.The biggest benefit is the flexibility. You can position the mic exactly where you want it, then move it out of the way when you’re not using it. It keeps the desk clear and just feels much more professional overall, especially if you’re recording, streaming, or on regular calls.It feels sturdy and well-built, holding the mic securely without sagging or drifting, which is important if you’re using something a bit heavier like a Blue Yeti-style mic. Once it’s tightened properly, it stays exactly where you put it.The clamp attaches firmly to the desk, and setup is straightforward. Within a few minutes, everything was up and running.Another bonus is how much it helps with sound quality, having the mic properly positioned makes a noticeable difference compared to having it sitting on the desk. I either has bracelets tapping on my desk or general 'bumping' sounds which can now be avoided!It's easy to adjust and the cables tuck away nicely.A simple upgrade to my Blue Yeti mic for my podcast has made a big impact. If you’re using a desk microphone, this is a really worthwhile addition for both convenience and performance.

I brought one of these a few years ago for more money and none of the extra's that came with this package, the adaptors (which are needed to hold different devices), Pop filter, Mic Cap and ties.It holds my Blue Yeti where ever I put it and it is really sturdy, the Mic Cap is a nice snug fit and the pop filter can just connect up, I'm happy with this product and would buy it again if needed.The only downside (and it is a small one), I do have to disconnect the pop filter when not using the mic in earnest as I have it pushed right down to one side which I can not do with the pop filter connected, so it would be nice if there was a quick release. When I'm doing a proper recording, it only takes a minute to connect the pop filter back up in place.

Excellent price and overall Excellent quality. One slight disappointment, the pop guard securing clamp. The metal is quite thin with little thread, so when you try tightening it you can't get a solid fixing before it starts turning. All other joints and securing clamps very good.

It's sturdy, it does it's job, it can be positioned several ways and it is easily taking the weight of my very heavy Yeti Mic. All of the different settings have adjustable screws which hold firm and don't slip. It's very easy to set up and use. It's also plenty big enough to have me sitting with my chair on the highest setting and still comfortably reach me. I don't know how compatible it is with other mics, but it was definitely compatible with my Blue Yeti. Not much else to say on this really. It's good for it's purpose and better value than some of the silly priced boom arms that are available.

This is one of those upgrades that instantly makes your setup feel cleaner and more “proper”. Gets the mic off the desk, frees up space and just looks way better overall.Really easy to set up and adjust – you can move it pretty much wherever you want and it stays in place without sagging. Feels sturdy enough and holds heavier mics like the Yeti or Quadcast without any issues, which was my main concern. The clamp is solid too and doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere.The extras like the pop filter and cable ties are actually useful and help tidy everything up nicely.It’s not super premium or silent when moving it around, but once it’s set up you don’t really notice. For the price, it’s honestly a no-brainer if you’re gaming, streaming or on calls a lot.Made my setup look and feel 10x better.

I was getting annoyed with my Blue Snowball mic because it sits too low on my desk, and if I want to use a keyboard, too far away too. Fine for meetings, not great for recording video voice overs. Bought this as an alternative to buying an expensive new mic and amazed by the value - very strong, sturdy design, seems pretty high quality, and holds the unwieldy Blue Snowball solidly in place for great recording quality.Would have paid twice as much for this, so highly recommended.

Does the job. I added extra washers as tightening enough to overcome weight of mic can be a struggle. The extra washers fixed the issue.

the mobility is not good, we can turn the microphone in the ideal position and the motion is not fluid , it is very rigid. I would not buy again or recommend.

The stand is smaller than I expected, but it does it thing.
