iRobot Roomba Authentic Replacement Parts – 3300 Lithium Ion Battery - Compatible with 900 and Select 600 & 800 Series

I have two Roombas and have gone through multiple knock off replacement batteries and they do not keep the same amount of charge as actual iRobot batteries. With the iRobot batteries my Roombas can complete the cleaning cycle and return to the base without running out of juice. With the knock off batteries, they would consistently run out of power before they could complete the cycle and get back to the base.Also, with the knock offs we would only get about 6 or 7 months of life before having to replace them.

We got our 900 series Roomba in 2016 and it has been working 3 to 4 times per week since. We tried 3rd party batteries in the past and that one worked ok for 3 months then began to fade quickly after. I tried the OEM replacement and the Roomba can once again clean for 1+ hours before recharging. We moved it to our upstairs rooms and it cleans 500 sq ft in just under an hour and without needing a recharge. This OEM battery has maintained its battery strength well over 3 months and shows no signs of fading "cheaper" replacements did. This battery has refreshed our older Roomba and it runs like it did when new and has for well over the time other batteries start to fade and lose charge life.

The replacement battery is almost as powerful as the original and seems to be working well, if not as well as the original battery when it was a NEW unit.

So this battery replaced the original battery in our Roomba. Seems to be working fine over the past year with no issues. The original battery lasted about 4-5 years. We will see how long this one lasts. So far, everything is working fine. Installation was a snap.

I bought a vacuum irobot 981 and stored it for 2 years (great price at Nov 2020) due to ongoing house remodeling. When I first recieved my 981 I tested for full functionality. Then stored it in closet until timfor use.Fast forward 2 years (sept 2022) .. storage killed the battery. So I bought a cheap version for under $20. The cheap version did NOT last 2 weeks before going completely dead. At least I was able to confirm 981 was good, battery was bad.I returned the generic battery and bought this OEM battery. 2 months later, still going strong.Moral of the story. ALWAYS BUY GENUINE ITEMS.

Just returned this battery. I own a 985 Roomba. A job that took 7 hours (including charging breaks) with my old fading battery takes 11 hours with this new battery. iRobot told me that the usual run time for this battery on a first pass would be around 90 minutes. This one ran for 66 minutes and then the run times got successively shorter for each pass. It did make it back to the charging hub each time but I expected a new battery to finish the job at least a little faster than the old one. I charged the new battery for two days before use and I rebooted the Roomba before I initiated a job. I also changed the settings from "Auto" on the number of passes to "one pass". I charged overnight and ran the same job on two consecutive days with the same result.Non-OEM batteries generate pesky little charging errors caused by iRobot's software. This is to encourage the use of OEM batteries. It is interesting that the ratings for this battery on the iRobot website are mostly negative. So It looks like 985 owners have to choose between paying a fortune for a lousy performing OEM battery or putting up with the quirks of a much cheaper non-OEM battery.

Firstly, i purchased different brands cheap priced batteries. They have better capabilities and longer run time but strangely the battery wouldn't charge. They fit perfectly tho.Finally, i returned all cheap batteries and bought genuine product which worked perfectly. Costly but worked charm.

THE DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE BATTERY WERE VERY POOR. WE THREW THEM OUT AND INSTALLED THE BATTERY THE WAY WE THOUGHT. IT WAS VERY SIMPLE TO INSTALL AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. VERY PLEASED WITH PRODUCT. I WAS DOWN TO HALF AN HOUR WITH MY OLD BATTERY. THIS ONE SO FAR HAS GONE FOR WELL OVER AN HOUR.

Dopo averne provato diverse questa batteria è l'unica che riesca a funzionare

バッテリーが駄目になったみたいで交換。簡単に交換出来て復活。交換できるバッテリーは２種類あるみたいですが、高いこっちのほうが寿命が長いみたいです。

I upgraded to this battery since my existing 1800 mah battery would not hold a full charge anymore. I went from 50minute runtime (when battery was good) to about 90 minutes now.For those with short run times, try removing your battery for a few minutes. I’ve had to do this with 2 different Roomba’s from time to time. Just resetting wasn’t good enough.
