Kept getting the 5 flash "bad battery connection" error
This is almost a perfect plug and play upgrade of the standard nickel metal hydride battery in the 500 series of irobots. After I installed the first time it would fail to charge and give the 5 flash error alert which usually is corrected by cleaning the contacts on the charge station and the contact pads on the bottom of the robot. Repeated cleaning did not make any difference so I decided to check / clean the internal connections again. The battery was slightly stuck in the cavity which keeps the contacts from fully compressed state and ensuring a good connection. I checked and cleaned both sets of contacts and when installing the battery I firmly pushed the battery into the cavity and replaced the cover. Now after several weeks the battery has always charged without any issues. Now the robot can run all over the house and has always made it back to the charging station on its own. Before it would run out of battery and strand itself before it could find the charge station. Now to see how long this battery will last!

Fantastic replacement for ROOMBA OEM battery
This replacement lithium ion battery works perfectly in my 800 series Roomba. The original battery I had in the unit would work for close to an hour. Then after a year, I needed a replacement and I bought a nickel metal hydride aftermarket battery on Amazon. That was a good replacement as it was definitely more robust than the original (OEM). THIS ONE, is phenomenal!! I don't have a large apartment (1100 sq feet). The battery easily lasts over two hours. I have not tested its full potential because in two hours the ROOMBA circled the cleaning areas numerous times. I put the ROOMBA in the bathrooms then out on the terrace. After all that cleaning, she still had power for more!!! I've had this battery for close to a month now and its been through quite a few charge/discharge cycles. I will update this review in a few months to report on total time to discharge after I have achieved an ample number of cycles.

It works like a charm. For my Roomba 550.
I bought a new in box old stock Roomba 550 (2007). I also have a much newer Roomba 980 and I thought it would be nice to give an old device a good life. My 980 Is meant for all of the upstairs where the rooms are. The 550 is meant for the down stairs where everything is open and wide so it can bounce around. When I bought my 550 the battery was dated for 2008. Well, it didn't hold a charge anymore, so I decided to upgrade the little guy with improved bin, brushes, motor, Wifi, and battery. I bought this battery and fell in love with it 24hrs later. It take 16 hours to charge a battery that's brand new and new to that Roomba. Now with all of the new upgrades, and a few mods my 550 now has Wifi, strong motor, big battery, strong brushes, etc. Very happy, thank you.

Better but not as much as the mAh rating would imply.
This unit dropped into the vacuum as promised. We first charged it for 24 hours as directed and then set the vacuum to work. After about 20 minutes it stopped. My wife picked it up the next day and placed it in another room and turned it on again. No charging had been done since it had stopped and this time it ran for over an hour. Since that point, this battery seems to give about 25% longer run time than the original factory battery. The difference in rated mAh would leave one to believe that it should run for nearly twice the time (100% longer) so I question if it really meets the rated mAh but it is definitely better than the original by at least a small margin. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, just don't expect 50% or more improvement as would seem possible. Now I hope that the much higher charge cycle rating will mean that this battery lasts longer than the original which worked for a couple of years.

Better than I expected
This lithium ion battery runs circles around the nickel metal hydride batteries I've had in the past. I have a model 570 Roomba named Rozzie the Robot. She has served us well for a very long time but an hours worth of work is about all I've been able to get out of her until now. With this new battery she has apparently been rejuvenated because she worked hard for four hours straight each of the three times I deliberately pushed her to the limit just to see how much I could get out of her. After that experiment I eased up - allowing her to dock when she finishes her assigned tasks instead of wearing her down to a frazzle. I expect that she will not lose nearly as much energy during multi-day rest periods as the NiMH batteries did. While I'm on a roll here, let me remind you to dispose of your old batteries properly. The Lowe's store in my area has a handy depository for worn out rechargeable batteries. I expect it will be quite a while before I take this new battery there.

False advertising! Battery does not work with Roomba 960
I bought this battery because it specifically said (when I bought it) that it worked with the Roomba 960. The battery arrived, and it's compatibility with the 900 series is written on the label (see pic). It was an easy drop-in replacement for my OEM battery, and it worked great for about a week. At that point, I started noticing that the battery would only charge up to 40-50%. I now see that this product page no longer lists Roomba 960 as a compatible product. The label on the product image has now changed to remove 900 Series even though the item number (34057) remains unchanged.I honestly expected better from Tenergy. I've repeatedly purchased their products in the past, but this erodes any trust that I had in this company or their products. If you produce a product that fails, own the mistake and make it right. Quietly changing things on the back end is just deceptive.

Great upgrade for a iRobot!
First let me say I dinged a star from tech support... Not because I had any conversation with their tech support but it was for their QA that let the first battery shipped to me out of the factory when it was BEYOND dysfunctional.Okay after getting the replacement this battery is just awesome. Charges ridiculously quick and lasts over 2 hours on my Roomba 880. What is great is how long the low battery level lasts. Because of having so many amps left at the low end of a charge the robot ALWAYS finds it's way home. Was a good purchase even if the first one shipped to me was seriously disappointing.
