unstable connection
Bought it for my wife to have better connectivity for video calls (she's on the other side of the house from the router), but she complained the video cuts out even more on this thing.I tested it in my WFH situation (I am same distance from the router and the extender, but the router is behind a wall; router and extender are line of sight no walls, and extender is line of sight of me... same thing, VPN would randomly lag, something it doesn't normally do...I ran ping google a few times - this thing has persistent 1-2% loss - for no reason since the rest of the time the connection is ~as fast as direct.Extender:Ping statistics for 142.251.33.110: Packets: Sent = 5127, Received = 5033, Lost = 94 (1% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 438ms, Average = 7msRouter:Ping statistics for 142.251.33.110: Packets: Sent = 5289, Received = 5288, Lost = 1 (0% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 3ms, Maximum = 371ms, Average = 5msExtender:Ping statistics for 172.217.14.206: Packets: Sent = 4162, Received = 4055, Lost = 107 (2% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 343ms, Average = 7msRouter:Ping statistics for 142.250.69.206: Packets: Sent = 3190, Received = 3190, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 3ms, Maximum = 444ms, Average = 6m

It works but, management is a COMPLETE pain...
PROS: The device works.CONS:The manual is HORRIBLE (no where can I find the difference between port I and Port II in the manual). It is LOCKED to 192.168.188.1 and you have to set your computer to that subnet to manage this device. When in AP mode, it does DHCP an address for itself but, it completely ignores http requests to that IP. You HAVE to go to 192.168.188.1 to manage it.If you set it to extender and screw up the settings, you have to do a full reset to get back into it.ALL of the cons are due to crappy software.

Expected better coverage of house.
I could have sworn it said it would cover 10,000 sq ft house. 5g is only avaiable inside our 2400 sq ft house, and signal weak on outside patio.

So so
Easy to set up but doesn’t work all the time. I have plaster walls in my house and thought this would help with my connection. The signal isn’t as strong with it so I stopped using it. It could just be the thick walls that I have at my house.

This does not work
This extender is a waste of time and money it does not work.

Extenders
Easy to install with good directions. However, the green lights are VERY bright and flicker. First night I used them we had to unplug or cover them.

False
Label it false advertisement because it does not have the range that it says it's supposed to have

Installed today and working as expected
I ordered this extender for the specific purpose of connecting my Arlo base station via Ethernet cable in order to place the base station in a more central location so that all cameras get a better signal. Well, so far, it has worked! Before adding the extender, the camera on the street side barely had one bar and would disconnect frequently due to low signal. Now, that I have connected via this extender, I'm getting three bars on the front and back of the house and 5 bars on the sides. A VAST improvement. My installation experience was as follows: My Xfinity WPS button was not working so I tried the alternate installation in the instructions. First I tried on my MacBook Air a few times without success, then I reset the extender per the instructions and was able to connect via my iPhone and now it works as expected. Have not had any drop-offs, etc. so far but, again, I just installed today.
