It is Lakeland, so you can trust the quality, make, design and functionality. I love that Lakeland does these products which are for one or two people. This soup maker is perfect as we approach autumn. You have plenty of options to make chunky soup or smooth creamy soups. The package also includes recipes which come out delicious even if you are missing a couple of items. Also, there is a cleaning function as well! Very easy to use especially for anyone who might be in a rush or starting to cook and wants to eat healthy

I was a, bit skeptical about buying a soup maker and whether I'd really use one that much. As I don't make much soup as I can't be bothered with all the faff of making it. So I decided to try one out and after reading reviews about the lakeland compact I decided to buy one. I'm so glad I did, it tastes amazing. I did carrot and coriander soup, and it was gorgeous. The consistency was velvety. A big hit wit hubby. Would highly recommend this to anyone. It was so easy to make and quick results for a little effort chopping the veg

Just come to wrap this and see that the box is damaged in 2 places. Too late to return now. Not impressed it was sent like this knowingly.

Very easy to use. Love the speed of a bowl of soup from idea to eating. Easy to clean. Compact and easy to store.

Bought this to replace my failed non-stick soup maker (the non-stick base had started to flake). I thought I'd buy one without the non-stick coating this time, and thought I couldn't go wrong with a Lakeland brand. How wrong I was! Everything sticks to the base of this soup maker, burns on, really, no matter what you do (and I've tried everything). I don't appreciate having to scour the damn thing out after every use. Also, despite it being exactly the same size as my previous gadget, and using exactly the same ingredients, the soup always turns out watery, necessitating a great deal of tweaking and addition of thickening agents to get the soup to an acceptable state. It's noisier than others, too. And it lacks a clock so you can't see how close to 'finish' the soup is. I'd rather make soup in a pan than fight with this thing.

This works like magic. Received it yesterday in it's original packaging, used it today for the 1st time and can't describe how happy i am with this gadget.I was a bit skeptical to buy this but after reading reviews made my mind and went ahead and bought it and glad that I went with this model instead of the other expensive ones that were listed.So I just threw in ginger, garlic, soya sauce , salt, frozen veggies like green peas, bell peppers , tomatoes, mushrooms, corn, carrots and added water up to the max mark and put on the lid and tadaa delicious soup ready in 26 minutes, had put it in smooth mode and the soup is really smooth , you can tell which all veggies I added in it.One thing missing - there's no timer on the lead to tell you how much cooking time is remaining, good to have feature.Also, the soup maker made loud noises in between, I because it was cutting the veggies.All in all a very good soup maker.

So far so good. Made lovely potatoe and leek soup in about 20 minutesJust have to remember not to fill jug past the max sign otherwise it won't start,

I'm delighted with my soup maker, it grinds cooks and liquidises in 25 minutes, amazing. I'm impressed.
