Does the bedframe have a lip to keep the mattress from sliding?

I don't see one but the mattress doesn't go anywhere. I bought these over a year ago and they are still looking brand new! My oldest son moved out and one of my girls took his full size bed and now my 2 yr old is sleeping in this twin size with this frame! no issues, its great for the prize!
