Absolutely Worth It – Perfect for Home Internet!
I recently purchased the TP-Link Deco X50 and I’m extremely impressed. I'm using it with my Virgin Home Internet SIM card, and it consistently delivers stable speeds of 650-700 Mbps — way better than what I used to get!The setup was seamless, and the connection remains rock-solid throughout my home. If you're considering using the router that comes from your service provider, skip it. The Deco X50 outperforms them by a mile in both speed and reliability. Plus, it connects faster and handles multiple devices effortlessly.Highly recommend this! Great value for money and a noticeable upgrade in performance.

constantly stops working, takes hard reset to revive, and has completely failed after 1 year.
all that about it's stability, self correction and so on - it is complete marketing tripe, and nothing related to real life.to begin with I bought a set of x50 and x20 to have a seamless wifi network accross the apartment, but the satellite x20 unit kept losing the main unit. it turns out that when the main unit optimises and changes band settings it does not relay this to the satellite unit (who would have thought it necessary) and so they start using different bands and lose each other until a hard reset. tech support suggested connecting them by hardwire, but then the whole point of paying good money for a modern pair of the same brand and generation was to avoid dragging wiring across a rented apartment. However, this is only the start of my troubles, every so often the system goes down, and cannot revive until a full factory reset and me having to set up the whole home wifi network over again from scratch. The above is bad enough, but after just over a year, even the factory reset now leads to a new network, which trips into error mode right at the setup finish. I have checked the 5G sim in my phone, I have reset and set up all variations, but it is now just a pretty piece of dead silicone sitting on the shelf.NEVER BUYING ANOTHER TP-LINK PRODUCT EVER AGAIN! the worst appliance experience of my life.

I like its 4G+ Performance
Our apartment's 5G signal is not powerful and when I set the settings as "5G preferred" the router performance was very poor and I was very close to return it and cancel my wireless internet subscription. However, after changing the settings as "4G only" the internet became much more stable. I am not getting full speed of 5G but at least I am getting stable 4G+ internet and it is OK for us. Overall, it is doing not bad. If you have strong 5G signals, it will do even better job.
