Hollings Hollings Natural Dog Treat Sticks Tripe Bulk 2.5kg

These tripe sticks are awful ... just tiny bits in the box ... really light no eating in them ... my dog wasnt impressed at all ... the whole box was just full of bits ... may be ok for a very small dog like a Chihuahua size ... but my GSD could swallow them whole ... threw them away in the end ... complete waste of money would never buy them again !!!

I thought I'd ordered 2.5kg 'loose' tripe sticks, but what turned up was a box containing 20 packs of 100g. Well, no matter, the tripe sticks themselves were as tripe sticks always are, knobbly and smelly, and the dogs adore them.The 100g bags are probably better than the box of loose, inasmuch as my kitchen doesn't stink of tripe sticks if I've forgotten to seal the bag securely, and I've used fewer of them than I would if it was a bag of loose ones, which sometimes includes massive pieces, so all in all, they're probably lasting longer even though I was initially a bit grumpy about being a bit short on ordered weight.Delivery and packing was fine, no complaints, and Hollings is a reliable 'name' in products of this type, so yeah, good, wholesome snacks for dogs with no additives or garbage.

Musty smell no tripe smell at all, no conatct with sellar meant to be hollings sticks but i just brought from hollings and nothing like themI feel really angry at this sellar especally with the cost of dog treats

Bought 2.5Kg bulk bag from another supplier several months ago; arrived in non-Hollings poly-bag BUT dog loved them! Very smelly and (I assume!) tasty for dog. I had no hesitation is ordering this product again, from a different supplier (original one was not listed for this product this time). They arrived in the green + blue Hollings box, so I assume they are the genuine article...BUT they are far INFERIOR to the first batch. They do not smell as much, and seem less crunchy...more like a cross between cardboard and garden bark shavings!! I suspect this batch was old, or had otherwise degraded; my dog eats them, but with less enthusiasm than the first batch. I would be wary of spending almost £30 on this product again...

Dogs love these and the big pack lasts ages. Cheaper than buying in smaller packs from the pet shop. Having now bought three of these packs I've found the quality very variable. The first two packs were fine, but the last pack, which turned up in a large plastic bag, not a Hollings box, weren't as good - lots of small bits and dust.
