Demon Snow Flex Force Pro Impact Shorts V2 Ski/Snowboard/Protection

I'm ordinarily I skier and so never required a pair of these but in the last few years I've given snowboarding a go and they became a necessity, the first time I went without them I was in agony by the end of the holiday and was constantly in fear of landing on my bum again because of all of the bruises from the previous falls. The following year I bought these and they improved the experience massively; they don't mitigate 100% of the pain but there is a significant reduction. They're quite chunky so you're going to look like Kim Kardashian but they're comfortable and do the job.
