This seed has amazed me at how well it grew
This seed has amazed me at how well it grew. I bought a small bag (summer 2014) and the ground I did was quite poor with no water source to hand. Whilst germination took a bit longer than bag claimed it came through evenly with a rich green. As the summer went hot then a bit wet etc the grass has continued to grow lushly and already looks like a good lawn when viewed from above. Now bought the big bag to do an area of about 200m2 with again poor soil and expect to succeed again this autumn.

Good quality seeds
They are very good quality seeds. Most of them germinated. Only reason I give 4 is because it is not as per what is given in the description. Birds do love them and cleaned it up in some places.

Product deliverd was not as advertised and ordered but otherwise okay
I ordered a 2.9 kg bag for 300 m.sq as advertied but received 6 x cardboard boxes @1.5kg saying they were only 50 m.sq each. So in theory, I was getting the same coverage but was supplied with twice the weight.Either they are overstating the coverage versus weight or else it's not the same seed or else ????. Other than that, it's grass seed and it works.Chuck it on well raked soil, get three weeks of intermittent rain mixed with October sunshine and away you go. I now have a reasonable 50-80mm of growth that's just a bit sparse in places and needs a bit more seed.

Package taped up on arrival
Item had been taped up and seed was wet when opened. Half was unusable

Really good, better to put a light layer of compost ...
Really good, better to put a light layer of compost then add the seed and cover with light layer of compost. Growing very fast now. Don't let it dry out but keep it watered from time to time.

Excellent results
This was a patch of mud 4 weeks ago. I levelled it and put the seed down. Keeps it watered and these are the results. Outstanding!

Worked first time, good prep is a must!
2 weeks and it looks amazing. It is patchy and will need seeding a few times but I believe it's because we went away and was unable to water the grass for a week. Good prep, de-weeded, turned all the soil over, watered the night before and sowed. Watered for 4 evenings before we went. Am buying more ..
