Does what its supposed to do plenty of adjustment and well made (its a Dremel) purchased with flexible shaft .

It is not only dangerous to use the Flex-Shaft 225 drive without this, but also very foolish, it is 100% necessary to operate the Flex-Shaft in conjunction with this holder. In consists of a plastic base/clamp for attaching to a bench or table, into which you put the 3 tubes and into the top tube is the 'hanger' for your Dremel itself, along with the Flex-Shaft attached. The plastic base also has some holes in it so you can store some of your Dremel 'bits' should you wish. You can then work safely with the Flexi-Shaft, and I have used this with both my Dremel 8220 and 8260 and it works a treat. Conclusion : A good piece of kit, but my only concern is how strong the plastic base is, I would have been far happier if it had been made of metal, both in terns of strength and longevity and for that reason I have deducted one star, and given this 4 stars.

This is part for the Dremel 225 that is not included in the box and you have to buy seperately. The 225 is a great flexi tool for the Dremel, but if you are using it on a workbench you NEED one of these, else the Dremel tool is just a nuisance and gets in the way. Single use tool and should be part of the 225 pack. Found the 220 on offer and this does the same job as the 2222 plus its a Drill Pillar Stand and it also acts as a holder which you can twist and fix through 90 degrees (vertical to horizontal). Much BETTER solution but you need to get it on an offer else its expensive. Returned my 2222 and bought the 220

When using the dremel flexible shift it must be kept as straight as possible and this holder gives this support needed to achieve this during use.

When using the Dremel extension cable this is the ideal addition to make working easier. With variable hight and position this is perfect for my workstation.

The tube was too tight a fit in the plastic base so couldn't be fully inserted but I was able to push it in far enough for it to be secure. The tubes are a loose fit together and bend over rather than stand up perfectly vertical. I have always found genuine Dremel accessories to be high quality but this item seems to be the exception. However is does do the job

Box was sealed, and all parts were there however the small round open toolholder, but on one of the legs it was broken off and found in the bottom of the box. Not a big deal, just annoying and not worth returning it for.

Betreibt man Rotationswerkzeuge mit flexibler Welle, kann man sie nicht einfach auf den Tisch legen, weil sie dann "auswandern". Es gibt auch Halterungen, mit denen man die Geräte horizontal fixieren kann, aber damit ist die flexible Welle eher im Weg: Sie ist zwar biegsam, aber keine Schlange. Ideal ist daher eine lotrechte Aufhängung. Sowas kann man auch selber bauen, das wird sich vom Aufwand her aber nicht lohnen. Ich wollte unbedingt eine Lösung, die man an der Arbeitsplatte festschrauben kann, und die höhenverstellbar ist. Das leistet diese Haltestange, und man kann sogar die Werkzeugeinsätze zum raschen Wechseln in die Bodenplatte stecken. Einziges Manko: Die Stange ist dreigeteilt und muss zusammengesteckt werden. Das ist vermutlich der Versand- und Lagerfähigkeit geschuldet, und bringt ein gewisses Spiel ins Spiel :-) Dieses leichte Wackeln beeinträchtigt aber in keiner Weise die Funktionstüchtigkeit oder Stabilität. Der Stangenkopf weist eine Nut auf, in die man das Netzkabel klemmen und so aus dem Weg schaffen kann, und die ganze Konstruktion ließe sich auch fix auf die Arbeitsplatte schrauben. Daher die fünf Sterne, ich bin sehr zufrieden.
