N95 Respirator Kit, Includes Headgear, 5 Individually Packaged Filters, Storage Case

I rarely give 5 stars. This mask deserves it. I've been using one for almost 3 years and love it. I'm immunocompromised and need to wear a mask anytime I'm indoors when not in my home. Especially now that almost everyone else is pretending certain global health threats are "over".It took me almost two years and many different products to find a reusable mask that fits, doesn't leak, and uses N95 filters. In that time I learned what makes a good one and why the Envo is among the best.To start, the gel that goes against your face ensures a good seal for multiple face shapes. I don't have to tighten the straps much to get it to seal (and they warn you not to). That helps with comfort.The straps I use go around the neck and on top of the head, which also helps with good fit and seal. It's not great for nice hairstyles 😂 but I'm more concerned with protection.Putting it together the first time was intimidating. Now I'm used to it. Don't give up! Once you work it out it'll come naturally to you.Because there's space inside the mask, breathing isn't hampered at all. I especially appreciate that it doesn't touch my lips or nostrils, which was the main problem I encountered with disposable and cloth masks.The problems I've encountered are minor. When the temperature is warm or I'm exerting myself a lot, it does make my face sweat. I get this more in airports than anywhere else since I'm rushing and stressed and flushed. Luckily, it doesn't slip around on my face even when I'm sweaty.Sweating also degrades the strap, meaning I've had to replace it a couple of times. Thankfully, they're not expensive.Taking it off and putting it on is not as quick or easy as one that hooks around the ears. But I'm not a fan of the version of the strap that goes on the ears so I live with it.If you don't store it in the case when you're not wearing it you're more likely to find the gel piece separating from the hard plastic. Use the case!If I don't clean it by wiping the gel bit down with a cotton swab every so often I get skin issues where it sits on my face. So be sure to keep it clean!None of those issues are major and come up with many other masks. This is still the best one and I recommend it to all my family and friends.

It works

If you wear glasses, you know that most N95 masks cause your glasses to fog. Not this one - it has a good seal around the face area so that exhaled air only exits the mask through the exhale valve and through the filter, both of which keep the warm, humid exhaled air away from your glasses. This mask is VERY comfortable and can be worn all day long. If you need to be able to remove the mask briefly, then the model with the ear hooks allows you to easily remove the mask and put it back on easily and quickly. The filters last a long time when used in a normal atmosphere. A very good design.

great product...but no seal due to large face

A coworker purchased one from manufacturers website and it came with a little white plastic piece to cover the “valve”The one I purchased from Amazon did not have this piece. Also, the internal gel face mask that seals to your face is heavy and causes the entire mask to slide down, breaking the seal. To remedy this, I have to tighten the strap behind my neck, causing terrible headaches after 16 hours of daily wear in a healthcare facility. The halo head strap is already stretched out after one week of use because I have to tighten the neck portion, which pulls on the halo causing loss of elasticity. The package the mask arrived in states “fewer marks” on face from wear. This is false, the weight and tension of the mask cause deep indentations that stay on my skin for many hours after removal. Unfortunately this mask is not returnable despite its missing a crucial part and unsatisfactory quality. Overpriced for the poor functionality to say the least. I’ve returned to using a disposable N95 but with a 3D printed halo style ear saver that I bought for $3 USD from an Etsy seller.

This is made well and is a good alternative that reduces some waste compared to full disposable masks.
