I’m loving this shredder!!! My old shredder broke a few weeks ago, so I went on a search for a replacement. I looked at several different models, watched multiple videos and read multiple reviews to help me make a decision. I’m not disappointed with my choice. In fact, I’m thrilled! It handles multiple pages without hesitation. With my old shredder, when shredding junk mail that was more than one piece of paper in an envelope, I had to open the envelope and shred each page separately. Now with this new shredder, I can feed a thick junk mail envelope though it all at once and it shreds without hesitation. It shreds into small bits which provides more security than my precious shredder that produced thin strips. The shredder basket pulls out from the front which makes it easier and safer to use. It shuts off automatically after it completes the shredding. The noise level is not too bad. My old one was much louder. This shredder is a good value for the money and is excellent for home use. I highly recommend this shredder for anyone looking for a solid shredder for home use.

Yesterday I received the Bonsail shredder, first the only assembly I had to do, was to put the wheels on.. I took a quick look at the directions,, plugged the unit in,, and it worked Flawlessly.. If you watch some of the video's on you tube about this shredder,, was the main reason why I brought it..it will even shed cardboard... The unit is quiet,, yes it does make some noise,,while shredding,, if you want a good to excellent shredder, I recommend the shredded for the money, speed, and sturdiness... Pat in Massachusetts...

This absolutely is better than I expected. It's incredibly sturdy. I have been getting rid of old papers and it has not lost power once yet. I've used this for 40 minutes straight with no sign of it slowing down. Although it's for my home use, I'd say this is perfect for a small office. Great buy!

I purchased this back in March of 2025; it is now December 2025 and I have just set up the paper shredder (just added the push in wheels) and used it for the first time. So far it works well, a tad bit loud but nothing to fuss over, and shreds like it is supposed to. It shreds thick papers as well of different quality/thickness. It clears out papers and does like an extra spinning of the blades, I guess to insure there's no pieces caught up in the blades. It did not overheat not once while shredding, and I shredded a lot. Now if you pass the fill line if shredded papers it will stop until the canister is empty. Does hold a lot but I emptied about 6-8 times during my shredding...so yes again I had a lot. Without the wheels the shredder is a bit heavy, but once I put on the wheels it rolled smoothly with ease. The shredder bin pulls out and does have a convient front handle to help and there are 2 plastic tabs the help to hold it place when closed, if not properly aligned it doesn't work. My bin draw sometimes got unaligned when getting full, and I didn't know why until I inspected the bin. My bin is cracked and broken where it is screwed together, as you can see in the photo (hence the 4 star rating). That is my main disappointment with my product was that I received a damaged product and didn't even know. I should have tested and inspected it thoroughly when I received it..it's well beyond return window and said window closed about a month after purchase. I do recommend this product, but please inspect thoroughly. As for its longevity and use over time, I hope this will last years 🤞and doesn't flop out like a few reviews I did read about.

Works well. Quiet -- much more so than I expected. I didn't stress it -- probably 7 sheets at a time was the max I fed in. Ran it for a half-hour with no jamming, overheating, etc. I have quite a backlog, so I will be using this frequently until the backlog is cleared. Comparing it to units that had a very short duty cycle, this is quite a good value!

I tend to save LOTS of paperwork & receipts... WAY MORE than I probably should (but we'll just keep that little secret between the two of us, ok, thanks). So when I decided to organize my office, I found I had a LOT more to shred than I initially realized. This soon resulted in the complete exhaustion & demise of my pre-2001 3-sheet shredder, may she rest in peace <brief 30- second moment of silence for her many years of faithful service>. Moving on: THIS shredder is sooooo much quieter than the aforementioned Suzie Shredder. I can just shred away & still listen to my podcasts without having to put in my ear buds. It's VERY civil. Additionally, it can easily handle much larger groups of paper; It's rated for 12 sheets @ a time. That makes large shredding jobs much faster. When you have been used to a limit of 3 at a time, 12 is amazing! One of the most important features is that this shredder is rated to run for up to 60 minutes per session, then requiring a 20- min. cooling off period. This is a very important feature for people with moderate to large shredding needs, considering lesser quality shredders typically are limited to anywhere from 3 to 6 min. before requiring a 30- min. cooling period. This is due in part to the fact that this shredder has an actual cooling fan built in. Again, something you will never see with lesser quality shredders. Finally, I should point out that the micro shredding product is remarkably small. Unlike other shredders, that complete the job in strips that can still be read, the small squares produced by this shredder are absolutely impossible to read. You can be assured that your information is absolutely destroyed with this product. The removable bin makes it easy to dispose of the shredded material. I simply stretch a plastic grocery bag across a standard office trash can, holding it open with a couple of office clips, then, dump the shredded material into that, then off to the dumpster, it goes. Also worth mentioning this shredder can devour staples, credit cards & CD's. I would not risk putting paper clips through there. Attention*** when shredding a CD, MAKE SURE YOUR FINGER IS NOT IN THE CENTER HOLE OF THE C.D. WHEN PLACING IT IN THE SHREDDER. YOU COULD LOSE A FINGER!!! Very happy I purchased this. It appears very well made and due to the internal cooling fan, It should last a long time. I give it five bunnies...I mean stars. (If you were born after 1979, you won't get the reference) Happy shredding!

Hoy probé la trituradora de bonsáis por primera vez con 18 hojas. Trituré seis a la vez y las hojas pasaron sin problemas. También trituré algunas tarjetas de crédito, que también pasaron sin problemas. Me gusta que se pueda usar durante 30 minutos antes de tener que parar. Actualizaré esta reseña cuando la tenga un poco más de tiempo; solo la tengo desde hace tres días. Me gusta que tenga ruedas y sea fácil de mover. Creo que el precio es muy bueno y seguiré usándola y les contaré más adelante.

This thing is a Beast! it shreds, and shreds... It goes for 60 min, with a 20 min cool down period. During my use, it never overheated, although overheating safety is built in. It shreds into reasonable size rectangles, nobody is putting that together... It took care of over 2 years of accumulated papers in easy sessions over two days. Well, it certainly takes care of business... FYI , read the specifications carefully. Many shredders go for 10 minutes with a 40 minute cool down period. Lucky for me, I stumbled on this one...little more money, but great performance.

Ordered this paper shredder to keep personal mail and invoices from the regular landfill. Set up of unit was a breeze and operation is easy. Micro shed is wonderful to fully destroy paper data. Will easily shred 10 pages together at once. Removable basket is handy to dispose of material in waste as well. Unit was as advertised and delivered on time. I would fully recommend this unit to anyone at home or operating a small business.
