ECOGARDS5436 Synthetic+ Oil Filter

After almost 3 months the filter didn’t hold up nearly as well as I expected. I actually did a proper engine flush before doing a total oil change. This was done for a friends car, and I can not fully attest to their driving habits. However the oil I used was a full synthetic by a major manufacturer. Cartridge filters will always fold over or bend over time and use, but I’ve never seen one do it after less than 3 months with a full synth oil and and oil flush. If I change this persons oil again and the other manufacturers filter looks the same, I will gladly change my review and simply say the driver and engine are to blame.

This filter is for my 2015 Buick Verano and fits as it should. It is rated for synthetic oil and saves a trip to Walmart or the auto parts store. It also comes with the O-ring for the filter cap!

It fits, it filters and its a great price. Appears to be better media than stock and much better than the Fram I was forced into purchasing last oil change. I will update review after my next oil change if my opinion of this filter changes then.

I recently installed this in my Saab 9-3 and will update review when i replace the filter. The last filter appeared to have collapsed after 3600 miles, so lets see what happens here

Looks good but NOT the right part for my 2015 Chevrolet equinox.

I LOVED how easy it was to install. I always use synthetic oil. Nothing is too good for my HHR. I will buy again.
