Hi there, I have used this product for 2 years and if I remember correctly I put this directly over my light brown hair without using any dye removers (hair previously coloured in a variety of blondes, reds, browns!) - it was the only shade I found not to cause any pinking or blueing when applied directly. Always avoid any type of ash blonde hair colourant on brown hair or you will end up with it going pink. Would advise, once you have achieved the colour you are happy with don't apply over the whole head as this can cause colour build up and dryness. Overall I am very happy with the colour result and condition of my hair. I use this every 4 weeks.

Hi Marguerite, Age Perfect by Excellence Very Light Vanilla Blonde is a box dye, not a toner. This product is currently available on our .co.uk website. We have discontinued our Age Perfect Toners, I’m sorry that I am unable to recommend one. You could take a look at the toners offered by L’Oreal Professional. Hope that helps, Thanks

Hi Ruby, I always recommend applying hair dye on dry hair. Please follow all instructions carefully for best results. Always do a patch test 48hours beforehand. Thanks

I have used this, it does not go yellow but a lovely pale blonde, the only thing I found is that it fades very quickly doesn't last as long as others of this brand
