Yes, it'll hook up to Samsung phones. Just need to use the 'SmartView' feature from your phone and cast to the projector's 'mira-cast' automatically. It worked with my SamsungFold5 phone.

The projectors hy300 posted on other marketplaces and YouTube reviews have Android 11, I just bought this and no Android 11 or play store???

I didn’t check android version but you are right it doesn’t have any play store! And suddenly brightness reduced drastically after a few time of use! Luckily I had one day left for return window and returned it!

Can this be used in uk?

this hy300 cannot used in UK. it was plug with US power charger. if you want to used in UK, we recommened you to buy the hy300 projector on UK market directly.
