Poor Components, Poor Descriptions
Poor Description:I returned the 1st Hardin CCPOLSET 5" without even trying it, because all over the package and the tool is said it was a WP800 4". The replace that was sent was identical to the 1st. After closer inspection I realized they just put 5" pads in the box with their 4" tool. Most tools that are meant to run the larger pads are geared differently so that the RPMs are similar, despite the difference in pad size.Poor Components:The water connection from tool to water-hose is ridiculous. I don't how anyone would ever expect it to seal properly. It is so poorly designed that I thought I must be missing something, and since it doesn't come with any type of manual, it's hard to say. (See photo...note: the fitting is a type of compression fitting, and you can't tighten it enough to make it seal)Needless to say it leaked like crazy, so I added a gasket, which did help somewhat seal the leak, but the fittings aren't threaded long enough to fully tighten - so there's play in the joints. Additionally, the water valve was completely blocked up. I couldnt even blow air through it. So the "wet" function never worked. I ended up taking it all off and letting the water-hose trickle water across the countertop. Disappointing. The power switch also feels like it is about to break. I've only used the tool for about 5 hours. Also the handle that is included does not even come close to fitting, and the bolts included to attach it are about 1" too short! Come on Hardin! A little quality control would fix the majority of these issues. So why did I give it any starts at all?Well it did work...sort of. And the tool looks like a quality machine, I think they are simply using really poor components. (Switch, valve, handle, connections, etc) Even the packaging was top notch, so it looked promising.I wouldn't recommend this, especially if you need something that will last, because I don't think this will.

The water hose going into the grinder/sander gets clogged. If the reset box lays in water you get a little tingle. Means electricity is going through the water. Its okay.
