Astonishing value
This whole kit was less than the one auto flash I bought for another camera. Amazingly, it all functions as advertised, appears to be well-made and has a number of convenient features (such as the radios can operate the autoflashes, studio strobes or (at least for Nikons with remote terminals) the camera itself. If it all holds up over time, this will be one of the best value items I have ever bought in photography, and that's going back 50 years and 44 of them professionally. Autoexposures are accurate, recharge times great, and the build, so far, is flawless.

Super good quality at an incredible price
An incredible package for the price indeed. Flashes work just as described, TTL mode, all functions respond to my camera setting changes with the wireless triggers and receiver. I was able to use them over the weekend and they worked flawlessly with my camera and synced up perfectly together. The hard and soft filter attachments are a great addition to the package. I'm really looking forward to trying them out on some special lighting shoots. I recommended this package to my other photographer friends. The wrist cables are really handy as well and work well to make sure my equipment stays with me.

ultra happy with this deluxe kit
This kit is deluxe. The flash is so quick to refresh for allowing multiple shots in quick cycles. The light is balanced and clean with a built in diffuser but it comes with two hard and two soft for extra diffusion. The domes attach on tightly and work well. No falling or slipping off. The remote trigger works well and has a quick and accurate light response time. Overall I am thrilled with these flashes. I'm really happy the battery doors close properly. With my older set, the door would pop off all the time and the batteries would spill out but these stay locked on solid.

Good and cheap
If you just need a flash for your Nikon, I would not hesitate to recommend buying these. I have had an SB600 and now SB700. I let batteries corrode in the SB700 and sent it to Nikon for repair. A year after I got it back, it started falling apart, literally; and for an unrelated issue. So, I decided to try a cheap system. I was going to get the Godox round flash but decided for 50 bucks a flash, the Neewer might be worth a shot. (I bought the 2 pack on sale.)I got them and tried them out. The proof is in the photos (that I did not attach, sorry). But I found they do well at lighting your subject and work well with my D750.There is a lot they don't do for complicated/integrated situations... but like any gear, know the limits! They come with radio units but they are not TTL in this arrangement; you can just set the power level individually. Just know that is the case. This isn't a flaw, just the way it is. (at this price point just having a radio feature blew my mind) BTW, the SB5000 from Nikon also has limited functionality with Nikon SLRs; and you have to buy their radio to get it to work with TTL - a very expensive system for this type of flash. I digress. The Neewer flash units themselves feel kind of cheap. The buttons are dark and flat and they all look the same to me. Not a big deal. The little flap over the sync cord is always loose and flopping around. It feels like cheap plastic when you adjust the angles and swivel. All of this is acceptable to me because the important part: the actual light output... is well-controlled and suitable for my purposes. I shoot wildlife and need a little fill sometimes... and I shoot outdoors/beach portraits and need to reduce some shadows.. I would like to use these for some background effects as well.. but haven't tried that yet. This flash works as the usual primary flash very well, on a stroboframe with a hot shoe extender too. The hot shoe has 5 pins just like every Nikon flash. Now for the only downside that hasn't been a problem *yet*.. the batteries get very warm using this flash. I'm going to look into it. I'm using regular ol' Amazon alkaline batteries. This flash may need Lithiums or something else. I've never had them get this hot so quickly in other flashes. I'm not shooting weddings or paying gigs. If I were, I would test them more... or get something else with a proven high reliability record.Bottom line: If I break one of these, I'll pick it up and dispose of it properly.. knowing it cost less to replace than to fix. Nikon charges more than these 2 flashes new to fix 1 old SB700. However, my real hope is I'm done buying speedlights for years. I still have my SB600, it's several years old and still works. I have a Sunpak from 1991 that still works. Anyway, good luck and happy shooting!

One of my best purchases in Amazon
This kit took me by surprise! I was frustrated by the higher prices I was seeing of similar but brand name systems. The packaging was great, and instructions are very straight forward. I paired this with Neewer Deeo Umbreller softbox. The transmitter and receivers are easy to use, and the light is fantastic. The pictures I uploaded were some of the very first images I ever took, so I hadn't quite mastered the controls but my friend was crazy excited about them. I am trying my hand at boudoir photography hence the sultry pose and look! I use a nikon D759 and configuration was a breeze. I think this is a great set for a beginner in portraiture but I am very happy with my decision to buy it. Would buy it again!

Great flashes!
I've had a nikon d3 for awhile and wanted to take my photography to the next level. My current camera takes great photos but often the lighting is not very crisp or bright These are my first external flashes so I wanted to find a good deal that would be affordable and still reliable so I bought this kit. When I first took everything out of the box, I was very surprised with how much it came with! It came with hard cap and soft cover diffusors as well as the built in pull out that are really helpful for cutting the light. The swivel bases and tilt heads give me more options for angling and allows for more room for creativity by being able to change the direction of the lights. I can use one on camera and one on a stand for main and fill light. My images are so much more sharper and well balanced with the trigger remote system. Finally I can really take my work to the next level, less work and more function, this flash is great!

Not bad, not premium. Fair price.
I liked the promptness of Amazon. The Neewer products are fair. Their quality control is lacking. BestDeal USA was not helpful in follow-through when I had an issue, but Amazon customer service made up for it. The flashguns themselves are great for the money when they work. One of the 2 in my order didn't turn on at all (the issue mentioned above). The radio triggers work, but they are entry-level triggers, not true TTL pass-through triggers. Still, ok for the money. The mini soft hoods were disappointing. The diffuser domes are more useful.

Great Kit!!
I'm loving this kit!! It has everything I need to expand the lighting options in my little amateur portrait studio. The remotes work well, and the included accessories give plenty of options to experiment with different lighting styles for your photos. The speedlites themselves are great. I have used them both on and off camera with great results. The screen makes adjusting the numerous settings quick and easy, and the range of functions cover most if not all you should ever expect from these units. If you're a beginner photographer looking to expand your knowledge and skills into portrait and/or product photography, this kit is a huge help!!
