Perfect - but make sure you choose the right one!
This product was great! The pens aren’t streaky, the colours are gorgeous, and overall the product is great. However, be warned that the “pastel” version of these is black pens with colourful casings, whereas the “vintage” one is the one with the colours.I almost got the pastel ones because I thought the vintage would be too intense on my eyes (similarly to how I prefer pastel highlighters over normal), but the vintage colours are both vibrant and appealing, and I definitely recommend them.Also, for those considering these for books: I have been using these for a few days now and so far they have not leaked through any pages. I haven’t tried it on some of the thinner pages, but on a regular book page, the pens don’t run or smear.

Beautiful Colours & Smooth Writing
These Shuttle Art pastel gel pens are such a joy to use! The 0.5mm tip gives a fine, precise line that’s perfect for writing, journaling, note-taking, and even little doodles without being too thick. The pastel colours are gorgeous. So soft and pretty, but still vibrant enough to read easily on the page. The yellow is the only one that's harder to see but is definitelyt still visible!The ink flows smoothly without skipping (absolute win), and the ink dries quickly so there’s no smudging at all!I love the retractable design so no more losing pen caps! The clips also feel sturdy enough to attach to a notebook or planner. They’re comfortable to hold as they are so smooth, and the quality feels lovely. Whether you’re using them for school, work, or creative projects, they add such a nice touch of colour and fun to everyday writing. Love them! No regrets here!

Not much difference between a few of the colours. Some pens write lovely but a couple write very patchy!
