There are two types of headlight lens housings: Projector, and reflector. I installed these in projector housings, and they work great. If possible, I highly suggest removing the projector housing from the headlight, cleaning it thoroughly, and reassembling it, prior to installing these. I'd also suggest verifying and adjusting your headlight alignment after installing these.I don't recommend these for reflector type housings that were designed for halogen bulbs. The light will scatter, unless you also replace the reflector bowls with ones designed for LED.

I had tested another brand of the LED bulbs. These shine so much brighter and I can see the road at night. The light spreads wide and cover a good part of the road in front. And high enough where it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

These headlights are SO bright! I love it in the country where there's no street lights. And recently have had a really hard time driving at night. My eyes I guess are just getting bad. These headlights changed everything. They are so bright! It lights up the road like a spotlight. You can see everything. It's amazing. I definitely recommend these lights. They are easy to install, even for me who knows nothing about cars. They fit perfectly and they seem really high quality.

A standard incandescent H7 bulb measures maximum width at the bulb of 15.8mm. These bulbs measure 19mm at the widest point of the LED. The seating surface flange measures 25.8mm on an incandescent bulb, these measure 25mm. If I could get the LED to fit in the bulb housing they might work, but since these are not made to the size requirements of an H7 bulb there is no way I could try them out.Be warned, measure your headlight H7 bulb hole before ordering these.

I would rather not have to write this review, but as a Vine reviewer, it counts against me if I have unreviewed products, so my hand is a little forced. I ordered these bulbs for my 2011 VW GTI as they are the closest LED bulbs to regular halogen H7 bulbs as I can find, and my housings use holders for the bulb for both physical retention and electrical connection, so more traditional LED bulbs will not work for me.However, the bulbs never arrived. This is no fault of the seller, the bulbs were shipped and ended up being lost in transit. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the Vine program, I could not request replacement units, so I was unable to properly review them. And though I contacted support to cancel the order, it still remains in my list of ordered items, so I am compelled to review it. As such, I give 3 stars as I can't say whether these are actually good or bad. All I can say is that they appear to be perfect for my case use, but I can't confirm it. I certainly think they're worth a try.
