Bought as a replacement letter box flap as the plastic “spring” inside the original had snapped causing the letter box to constantly flap in the breeze! Although replacement springs are sold, I couldn’t find the right type so this became the best option. It arrived quickly and with everything needed to replace the old one. Fitting was easy and it is a perfect fit for my door. It looks better than the original and functions exactly as it should.

Product arrived on time.Was the correct size and a good fit.It took me slightly longer to fit than expected as the screw hols did not match the old ones. I had to get my drill out to make some new holes for the screws.Looks good and appears well made.

Bought to replace my letter box that some delivery wrecked while ramming a parcel through it! After taking a lot of measurements, searching and measuring again. I settled for this one as it nearly identical in size and style to my current one. I’ve bought a few things from Xfort and once again I’m throughly impressed. The build quality is great with a reasonable price to match. The unit is quite light weight where it needs to be and very strong and sturdy in places where it needs to be like the flaps, spring mechanism and screws. It’s very easy to open requiring little effort, which I’m sure the postman would appreciate. It’s very easy performs very well with keeping itself closed in bad weather due to the robust spring and at keeping out said weather with its dual draft excluding brushes and foam weather seal on both sides. Installation is made easier with the boss that helps get everything aligned, but I would suggest having an extra set of hands to help hold it in place while you screw it together. It looks good as it blends in perfectly with my door. I would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement.

Great letterbox. It is for the modern thicker door, however it is easily cut down to fit.

the letterbox itself seems decent enough for the price however there is a fundamental problem. The screws that are supposed to clamp the outside and inside section together do not fit correctly and simply slip out. This makes the sections come away from each other very easily. I tried contacting the supplier who was quite dismissive that their was a problem with the product and provided no solution. As id half fitted it (and removed the old letterbox) before i found this problem out, i didnt want the hassle of returning it and having no letterbox so im left with trying to resolve this myself

My front door letter box got damaged and I had to replace it. Brought this as a replacement and it does the job. The letter box is well made and the paint work is of a nice finish. Easy to fit into the door. The letter box flap (knocker) is of good weight. so it won't flap in the wind like my original door letter box

Looks nice, easy to install but i dont think is sturdy enough, at least not for couriers that are pushing through letterbox everything. Provided 2 sets of screws for diffrent door thickness

Had to unexpectedly purchase this after a heavy handed post person broke the original letter box.The size guide and fitting instructions gave me the confidence to purchase the correct one, and it only took about 10 minutes to fit.Time will tell how well and long it lasts, but it looks great and feels solid. Can’t complain about the price either.Only criticism is that the screws could be better quality, as the heads are a little soft but okay if used with the correct screwdriver.
