Appears to be good quality and works great so far easy to install. Saves space compared to the hose reel on wheels...i Would buy again

When I ordered this I did not expect anything this nice. It not only is aesthetically pleasing, but it is very very well made. This company did not skimp on parts.If for some reason it begins to leak you can replace the o rings, the swivel works great, they send a couple of tools to help put it together. It works very smooth and mounts really well. There's even a screw to adjust for backlash. They have thought of just about everything

The main issue is the plastic ones are getting cheaper every time I bought one......they are now at the point of falling apart too frequently. This unit has a proper brass swivel that is sealed with o-rings...these are easily replaced to restore the function back to normal operation.The unit has a nice oversized handle and it cranks very easily. It is great that the reel can be placed in various positions, which makes it easy to crank in the hose.I decided based on a few reviews to disassemble the unit and re-greased the pivot bearing with waterproof grease and I also re-greased the hose pivot fitting with a synthetic water proof grease. Because my installation is not out in the open where it can be rained on, I believe this unit will last many years.It is very sturdy and I think that it will go the distance!!!Beats the plastic ones hands down!!!!

I am well pleased with the quality of this product. I had become so accustomed to my leaky and balky old hose reeel, that I'd forgotten how easy to use a good one can be. It's newly installed so I cannot speak to durability, but the solidity of its construction augers well.I did have considerable difficulty in assembling the product. Some procedures, such as attaching the basket, require a surgeon's precision which I - Mr. fumble fingers - do not have. Also the instructions seem to be in the wrong order in one place; I mounted the frame, and then had to unmount it to add the basket.Still, the frustrations were worth it, as it works very well.
