Auto Top Off System Saltwater Aquarium, Water ATO for Reef Fresh Tank

I can't say enough good things about this company and their product. I bought this several years ago and it had reliably kept my saltwater tank full. The pump finally started having issues. I couldn't find a replacement. I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement for free. It was incredible! 10/10 the best

I’ve been using this ATO on my reef tank and it’s been rock solid. Installation took only a few minutes, the optical sensor has been very reliable, and it keeps my water level extremely consistent. That stability has also helped keep my salinity right where I want it, which is critical for a reef tank. The pump is quiet, the included tubing was enough for my setup, and I appreciate the built-in safety features that prevent overfilling. It has been operating without any false alarms or issues. For the price, I honestly wasn’t expecting this level of performance. If you’re looking for an affordable, dependable ATO for a saltwater aquarium, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one. It’s one of those pieces of equipment you install and then forget about—which is exactly what you want from an auto top-off system.

What a wonderful auto top off system this is. I got this for my daughter aquarium she has and it has kept the water levels at top off and gives her a sense of peace when she leaves out of town for a couple of days. It was so easy to set it up with the instructions and the quality of the kit is durable and worth the price. It is not noisy at all. Great senors on it.

I love this thing but it never seems to have the longevity I want it to. That said for the money it's incredible. Ive used this for fresh water and saltwater topoff for years. I also use this to help me change out water in my hydroponics system. The only problem I've had with it as a topoff over about 6 years functionality wise is there's been an occasion or two where it's dumped the entire container into the main tank. I've been fortunate to work the math out so the salinity in my saltwater tank didn't change enough to cause issues. Plan accordingly. Probably don't have a 30 gallon fresh water container for ATO if your saltwater system is 65 gallons.

I really loved this product. I had my doubts before asking for it because sometimes you don't know what quality to expect, but since I opened the package, it left a very good impression on me. It is immediately noticeable that it is made with super good quality materials, it does not feel fragile or ordinary at all; on the contrary, it is quite resistant and well constructed. As for its role, it fully fulfils its role. The installation and use were very simple, and from the first moment he started working perfectly without any problems. It makes your life very easier and saves a lot of time, which was just what I was looking for. He sincerely exceeded all my expectations. Okay, completely. It has incredible versatility and stability. And their appearance is totally in line with their function.

I really liked this ATO system because it is very easy to install and use. It is compact, stays stable, and the included accessories make installation much simpler. This worked really well till it didn't. The sensor started giving out after about 2 months. It would start filling and just not stop. It would drain my entire 5 gallon bottle into my tank, which luckily isn't enough to send my 75 gallon tank overflowing... But it'll just sit there trying to pump water non stop when the sensor is very obviously fully covered in water. I've come out in the morning to my tank overfilled with the pump running air for who knows how long, likely at least 2 hours straight. The sensor was not dirty. I keep it clean. I have cleaned it after it's malfunctioned and it would malfunction again later that day. I have bought a replacement sensor from another brand. Somehow the water pump hasn't burnt out so I'm still using that. The replacement is working so far, but I've only had it about a week. I'm sure that while it's a different brand, they're all from the same manufacturer, because they're exactly the same. Hopefully this one lasts at least a little longer than 2 months... In that 2 months I became very much dependent on this system, I have pothos growing out of my tank, and when the water evaporates too far, the roots get exposed to air, dry out, then I top up, and those dry roots rot and die. Since having the system, that has stopped, and my plants are doing better than ever. I really need this system to keep working 😭

Setting up a small reef tank in my living room, evaporation was disrupting my salinity stability, I'd lose 1-2 cups a day in summer. Picked up this ATO system and it's been running flawlessly for over a month now. It uses dual optical sensors, very accurate, no false triggers from waves or bubbles. When evaporation drops the level, the quiet submersible pump kicks in and slowly adds fresh RO/DI from my 5-gallon reservoir bucket (not included, but easy to connect with tubing). It adds the right amount in short bursts, keeping parameters steady, salinity holds at 1.025-1.026 without fluctuation. Installation was straightforward, mount the sensor bracket in the sump, drop the pump in the reservoir, route the tubing, plug in, and calibrate if needed. Pump is very quiet, no vibrations, and the whole system feels well-built for the with sturdy tubing and good connectors. No leaks after setup, highly recommend!
