Well...it didn’t work for this large amount I needed...as it was too sparse. I used 2 tubs. The few strands of grass that came through meant I’d probably have needed 10 tubs for it to be dense. I mean..it works...but the amount of weeds that suddenly sprouted where we had sprinkle the seed couldn’t be a coincidence. Though it seems to only be where we used the second carton of it that the weeds sprouted. So I’m not very happy as now I have to remove it all and start afresh. There was more weeds that grass in one part, you can see in the photo Id pulled lots already just from that spot...thing is since we used it we have random arrays of grass weeds popping up too, that yellowy stripey one, the ones that look like wheat as they are thick. Not had anything like that before. Really odd. Going to call in a lawn company instead.

This product works as advertised. BUT make sure the temperature is sufficiently warm. The grass will not grow when it is chilly. I tried in late March. It didn't grow. In May, the grass grew, as did new seed I added. I have made no scientific experiment. But I would guess it needs to be at least 10 degrees Centigrade and better still 20. Also water it regularly (but not excessively).

Used two now and nothing has grown at all. Followed instructions to a tee. Waste of money.

Put this down a couple of weeks ago and I'm not seeing any results. Wouldn't buy again.

Use this on stubborn patches etc where other seed has failed...it will grow, excellent stuff.

I purchased two shaker jugs and used both but the grass has not grown at all - would not recommend

Could have done with more grass seed. Grass grew well but sparse.

Ok for the odd bald patch. Had a couple of patches under the kids swings. Followed instructions, grass started to grow within 2 weeks, decent coverage in 4 weeks.
