I got this light to see how much of a crime scene the cats have left around the house. This light shows there’s a lot of crime in this house.

I bought this flashlight for uranium glass shopping. Testing it on the uranium glass I already have, it works as expected. I took it paint shopping recently too. I was looking for what paints are UV reactive, to spice up some things I'm planning on making. The added bonus is that it charged up the glow-in-the-dark paints too. It's nice being able to test paints in the store, especially with this compact size. My older lights were much larger, and more cumbersome to carry into stores discretely. It takes a standard 18650 battery. We have a bunch for other lights and assorted stuff. 18650s are the new standard for portable devices, replacing AA/AAA batteries that would just die off fast.

I bought this primarily to "set" uv glues. I had to replace my old one that died. This UV light has lots of uses. Letting you know what's clean and where pet stains are just two other uses. Construction is rock solid. The only downside is that you have to buy the unique 3 volt battery separately. I chose to go with 2 lithium ion rechargeables with charger. They last forever.
