I really like the kit that this bathtub fixture set includes. Our problem came with installing the Spigot. It is designed with plastic connectors for copper pipe, however, if you have galvanized inlet source, you have to unscrew the installed connector in the spigot which reveals a threaded piece all the way back inside the spigot. It's very flimsy and not-very-straight threaded, extra thin, welded-on nut, that in our case, easily stripped and became useless. I had to find another replacement spigot. I didn't even bother contacting the seller because I didn't even want to try it again. If you have galvanized pipe, look for "IPS Inside Thread" in the description or you might be disappointed.

This shower set is nice and was a good value.

Great shower system but where’s the hold and cold screws? Hopefully the company will send them to me. I’ll need to reach out to them. In addition, the shower head is not heavy duty like the other parts.

The media could not be loaded.  What a beautiful combination with the tile I picked. I loved it.

I’ll start off with the negative which will match most of the reviews, but yet will give you the simple solution for easy installation of the tub spout.Solution:Installation diagram needed a magnifying glass to read and was very vague about the spout. It didn’t in the least tell you how to install the spout or even offer a solution. It did come with a pipe plug if you didn’t want to use the spout.Here is the most simple fix! I use an exact-o knife and cut around the glue where the plastic piece is THREADED onto the metal spout. Cut all of the way around the base of the shaft up against the metal housing. Be sure to go around the shaft several times and don’t be afraid to penetrate through the glue to get to the metal, this will allow the plastic to break free. Try not to cut the plastic it could weaken it.Then use a pair of channel lock pliers or something that will allow for you to get an even grip on the plastic piece. Apply even force and turn counterclockwise. Mine came loose easily and I hope yours does too. Even if you do break it, you will still be able to remove the remaining, it’s going to take you more time though.Once you get the plastic piece out, replace it with a common straight piece of water pipe with threads on both ends. You will need to measure from the edge of the bath tub to the water manifold and then measure the depth of the water spout. Don’t forget to add the thread length for both ends.Now the Positives: The hardware is a good quality solid metal. My wife was insistent that we get a set with separate “Hot” & “Cold” handles. My wife & I really like the look of the brushed-nickel finish & the overall style/shape of the handles & faucet. We also ordered a separate “rain shower” head in a matching brushed-nickel finish which we love.

Great product and Quality. The Design House 523472 Bath and Shower Trim with Valve, Oil Rubbed Bronze Appears to be the exact same item in the large box stores but less cost. Great benefit -no lines to wait for checkout.

These were a perfect match to replace my old 1950's bathroom faucets. I love them! Plumber said they were very easy to work with.
