I purchased two of these car seats for my two 6lb dogs. I have had other car seats and for the most part all have lasted a while. However, one of my dogs, would prefer to be in my lap when in the car, a habit the previous owner must have encouraged. I prefer that my dogs be restrained in a car seat so that I can concentrate on driving and the safety of all in the car. I did not have any issue installing the car seat but do be aware the straps length may not have a lot of play depending on the width of the carseat. There are connectors which will keep the carseat snug and in place. One of my dog sits in the front passenger seat and the other is in the back passenger seat and each dog makes themselves comfortable after I connect the car seat latch to thier harness. The depth of the dog seat is roomy enough for my dogs to be able to turn around and the liner is soft and the material used for the car seat is nice in appearance. I put a small blanket in each dog seat for extra warmth and cushioning. I also put a small treat or a dental bone in each car seat for dogs to find and encourage a positive experience while in the car seat. I would recommend for modestly priced dog car seat.

I held off writing a review for this car seat so that I could really test it out with my little dog, Gypsy. At first, I thought it was way too small and not quite what I wanted. The one thing I don't like is how flimsy the seat is; meaning it folds up nicely but it makes the front constantly fall down if it's not secured around the head bolster on top of the seat. Gypsy is a total "nervous nelly" and taking her anywhere in the car was a total nightmare. But the minute that I put her in this seat, put on her harness and secured everything, she was like a totally different dog! She LOVES this seat and I think it gives her the feeling of being safer and more secure in the car. I had a harness before but she still was screaming the whole time. With this seat, she feels safe and secure so she is wonderful when we go on drives. She weighs 17 pounds and just fits in this seat. I would not recommend this seat for a dog more than 15 pounds, 20 pounds max. One of the features with this seat is that it can be elevated up higher above the seat so that the dog can see out the window. I don't have the confidence in the seat to hold with my dog. Perhaps smaller dogs would like that but I don't trust it for my dogs weight. One feature of the seat that I really like are the pockets that you can put doggie bags, handy wipes and treats in. I'm prepared now for those times when I need them while taking her for a ride. The seat is also super easy and quick to install in the car. I highly recommend this seat to anyone with little dogs up to 15 pounds, especially for all of the other "nervous nelly's" out there.

My dog is very chill... at home. She loves car rides but will never stay seated or just lay down. She’s constantly walking back and forth or if she’s in the passenger seat, she’ll lean forward on the dash or the window. She also leans way too much out an open window. I’ve tried training her, using crates and carriers, and one year I literally took her to the dog park everyday just so she’d get used to the car... didn’t work. I decided to try a booster seat since I was afraid of her getting hurt or us getting into an accident so win win, it’s a bit safer and she’d be strapped in. First day I put her in, she sat down the whole time. No crying. No trying to get out. She was perfect.Pros: it’s affordable, adjustable, and the lining is removable. There’s also pockets to store baggies or food and it’s easily assembled (and sturdy).Only con is that the liner attracts a lot of hair... my dog is a Maltese poodle mix but with thinner hair closer to a Maltese. Doesn’t really shed as much as the avg dog but the liner has so much. The liner is a soft microfiber/towel material. It’s soft but I’d prefer something that I can just shake clean.

i purchased 2 of these car seats the first one in Jan. 2018 for my car and second one for my mom's car last month 7/11 2018. Problem is the strap that go around headrest on both car seat tore apart. The one in my car tore apart about a month ago and the one I bought for my mom's car less than 2 months ago just tore apart this morning. Very disappointed as we loved these car seats for our 9 pound Chihauha Buster. Very comfortable for our Buster and big enough for him to curl up in on long trips. We don't have a garage but we have sun shades for our wind shields and we leave all windows cracked a couple of inches. It's like the straps rotted as the only thing I was doing today was taking the good car seat out of my mom's car and put it my car since we were going to be out with Buster today. Today I purchased 3 inc k heavy duty safety pins hoping I can fix the strap so the car seats last longer. For the price especially buying 2 I thought they would last longer. 😞

The dog car seat is real cute. However, the site describes it’s holds up to 26.5Lbs. I order a Large. I have a Shiz Tzu weighting 17Lbs and the booster is a little small for him. Comfort is okay. I added a little extra padding for comfort.large (L*W*H: 16.14*12.60*8.27in).Excellent quality, arrived on time, easy to assemble, securely strapped in vehicle. I highly recommend this product, but for Dog’s under 15Lbs.

I looked at a bunch of dog booster seats before getting this and decided that this would be best. For the price, this product is definitely worth it. It straps right to the seat and you can securely clip your pet's harness to it, preventing them from moving around. The downside is it's not the sturdiest. My Corgi does love riding in it and seems very comfy. I did add a blanket to the bottom to make it a bit plusher. All in all, I'm very glad I purchased it but did think it would be sturdier and was a little disappointed in that.

I admit to being pleasantly surprised at the good quality of this product considering the incredibly low price! It's sturdy, and seems to work well so far 2 days in. The one exception is that the back strap is far too short to wrap behind the seat completely but I've been able to use a bungee cord to bridge the gap so it's still a safe carrier for my pup and she really likes being in the wind at that height.

I like it the dog hates it!! Would love to send it back I think it’s too late!!

All this time, we always put towels on top of the car seat whenever our dog is with us in the car. We always tell him to stay on the car floor but he always jumps on to the car seat which is cute but really, his hair is just flying everywhere in the car seat. It is personally hard especially when we just vacuumed the car interior and made it spotless.This dog car seat made our life easier! It is very easy to set up around the car seat. Also, there is a metal clip to hook the dog harness on which I find really convenient. The inner layer is removable and washable thus it is easy to keep the pet booster seat clean. I am loving the side pockets of the travel car seat, it feels like a "real" bag. It does make things tidy for you and your puppy. My partner and I are loving the item.**

I really like it, perfect for small dogs, easy to install. Just wish my dog liked it as much as I did.

Our new baby just loves it. We've installed it so it's elevated and she can see out the window. Well made and just perfect for us!
