What a brilliant product! I used it to revamp some old shoes and now get loads of compliments. My only suggestion is that make sure you know what size you need to use before turning the wand on. Once the metal tip heats up it is far too hot to touch and therefore you would need to wait about half an hour to change the size. Also watch you don’t burn your fingers as it heats up in seconds!

It arrived today and I carried out one test which went well. It heats ups within 1 minute and affixes to the garment well (mixed polyester fabric in this case). I can't however give full starts as plenty of reviews have stated that it stopped working after a while, so I want to allow mine the test of time, which I hope is a success story

I bought this item because it sounded like ones I had used before. My friends have bought similar items and they are very easy and quick to fix stones. I borrowed them on a couple of occasionsUnfortunately not the case in this instance. I didn’t use this product immediately (stupidly) because I had no need to.The different tips Do NOT pick up any matching size stone.....not even the few in the packet sent as samples!If you try and use the flat part (as instructed if sizes do not fit the bits) nothing happens.The stones I have been trying to stick on are supposed to be the size specified for the bit. I had to place each one individually to try and stick them on....as wouldn’t pick up. Now one has stuck (same size) and it is impossible to remove as the side slits (there to prize any out) are too narrow, even for my thinnest smallest knife to prize out!As I did not try it out immediately it is too late to send this product back. I tried to contact the seller first but it seems my window ended 3 days ago.

Is very good little wand. easy to use. Slight drawback is the finger guard has a tendency to work loose so needs re-tightening every so often, but it really isn't a problem. I bought it to decorate two Christening dresses, shoes, hair bands, socks and a wall decal (don't ask ) --- the interchangeable heads are easy to fit. I wouldn't recommend this for very young children though as the heads do get extremely hot --- I'd say a 10yr old under supervision would be a minimum sort of age. I am purchasing two more, for my 12 yr old nieces for Christmas who both love doing craft work.

Purchased this and really wish I hadn’t bothered Yes it heats up but is hard to handle When heated up the whole shaft gets unbelievably hot after about 10 mins I gave up as my fingers were so burnt Plus the fitting to hold the diamonds for placing aren’t the best the either fall straight out or don’t come out at all So until I can find a more proficient heat gun this will have to be a postponed hobby

This item was definitely value for money. I’d bought more expensive ones in the past but with the variety of interchangeable screw in appliances, it fulfilled the purpose required.

So far so good. I find these electric hotfix wands need to be treated with care, as the flex can easily be pulled resulting in a useless wand. At the moment it’s working very well and I’m hoping it has a long life!

Over heats burns your fingers when holding the wand, you can feel the heat whilst holding the wand this is my second use of this product. As you can see the black cable is coming away health and safety issue.
