Excellent, not too tight, extendable elastic belt
March 2020 - These are excellent pants! I bought these for my two teenage sons who need them for school uniforms. Neither wears tight fitted clothing. These have hidden expandable waistbands that extend when worn, and my sons feel comfortable in them. No pinching or pulling. We have owned them for about a month. I have washed these many times, even in warm water, and dried them even on high (which i'm sure isn't recommended), and they have come out great from the dryer! The initial crease may not be as crisp, but i'm sure that has to do with my casual laundry style! I am very happy with this product. Will gladly reorder when the need arises, provided they continue to hold up the way they have so far.Update June 2021: My sons have had these parents for over a year. They have held up beautifully. I bought more when one son outgrew the length, but the other has had the same pairs throughout. Overall, they are an excellent buy and wear well. Additional information - the fit is not clingy, but flexible and more of a classic fit.Update April 2022: These pants are STILL going strong. Have not needed to replace them.

These are great work slacks
They are comfortable and the sizing is accurate. Easy to wash and they come out of the dryer looking great. I've been wearing them for quite a while and they are holding up quite well. Lightweight fabric that I prefer. Cool and comfortable, but I wore them to work over the past winter and they are fine for limited cold weather exposure. I'll probably buy another couple of pair and retire some of my other, thicker slacks that seem to have gotten tighter over time. ;-)

Good quality, size is too big
I have purchased 2 Haggar's Mens Cool Stretch Waistband Pants (navy blue & olive green) in the past. I like the material and fit. The material is light weight and dries quickly when wet. The material is breathable in hot weather to help you stay cool. The polyester fabric is okay for resisting strong wind, so it can act as a wind-breaking outer layer in cold wintry weather. But you do need an inner thermal underpants to keep you warm. I ordered this pair of pants in a slightly different color (Khaki). Initially I ordered the 36Wx29L, but my waist is 37 so after wearing the pants for 1 hour I felt uncomfortable from the tightness. Then I ordered the same pants in the same Khaki color but in 38Wx29L. The waist is comfortable but I have to use a belt to keep it from falling off. The waist was comfortable but too wide. Plus the length was too long. I have to double roll-up the pant leg-cuff to keep it from dragging on the floor. I am short and stocky. I need a waist of 37 inches and inseam length of 28 inches. The 36Wx29L and the 38Wx29L are just too tight (36W) or too wide (38W), and the inseam length (29L) is too long. I am not a male fashion model (6'2" tall, 32" waist, 165 lbs). I am short and stocky (5'6" tall, 37" waist, and weighing 166 lbs). These Haggar pants are good in quality at an affordable price. The problem I am having is finding a good fit.

The best
Asolutely the best pants I ever wore, very comfortable, large pockets, durable, I've had the same pair for 8 years that I wear to work and the seems remain intact. They are more expensive then the other brands but there is a reason for that. If you are on the fince of what to buy defnately get this brand.

Good Value & Quality; OK Fit
I've been wearing these for work for the last 8 years or so and I have generally liked them for their comfort, appearance, feel and affordability. It's been about 3 years since I last purchased a new pair until recently. These new ones fit, but it is definitely a different fit than in previous iterations. Many reviewers on here complain about them being too tight in the crotch. I think I would describe it as being more modern and "fitted", which seems to be very popular right now and the bane of any guy weighing more than about 165 lbs. I don't necessarily prefer this to the more classic fit of the older ones with the turquoise blue inner waistband stitching. I'm 6'0" and my build is pretty muscular with more of a rectangular torso. I normally wear a 38/32 size. I have large, muscular thighs and I can definitely tell these are tighter in the thigh area than previously. The crotch area is also a somewhat tighter, but the rise is pretty standard and I have no complaints there. The waist is fine, but I find that I'm making use of the 2" expandable waist a bit more with these than the previous versions. So overall, it's a tighter, slimmer fit. I expect I will keep these and continue wearing them, but I may have to start looking at a different brand to find a more "classic" fit. It's too bad because the Haggar Cool 18s have previously been a solid balance of value, quality and fit/feel. The value is still there, but the change in fit is disappointing.

Classy, comfortable, easy
I'm 74, retired, and the dress slacks I used to wear to the office were killing me because of my new "Bay Window" waistline. I wanted to replace ALL of them and get the colors I like most - Black, Navy, Khaki, Grey, Brown. These are REALLY comfortable, and well-made. The "hidden expandable waistband" ensures they sit and fit as good dress trousers should. One small inconvenience I encountered was the very large closure-button above the zipper. It's 1.5cm across, sewn down tightly, and the fabric around the button hole is pretty stiff. If you have an *urgent need* to "drop trou," the extra few seconds it takes to work the button could be problematic -- HOWEVER, the expandable waistband should pretty much slide past any guy's hips, so there's that. They launder nicely (but do follow the care directions) and look sharp afterwards. I am quite pleased with my purchase. If the need for another pair or two should arise, I'd choose this brand and style. I'd put up a photo, but it might damage your computer or iPad.
