I gave this product a try after having a conversation recently, about how much I used to love astronomy as a child. Needless to say, I was floored by the realism and educational values of these AR items. So I bought the AR notebook, solar system, and the Regular moon augmented. This product is awesome for any connoisseur of the galaxy.-Red Turban

Product was not shipped properly and, as a result, a piece that was seemingly important was broken. There’s a flat piece that the moon is meant to be set on top of for the app to work and that flat piece was broken into 3 pieces when I opened the package. The smaller box that the moon was in was inside of a larger box for shipping, but there was nothing inside the main box to keep the smaller one from bouncing around so I’m assuming that’s why/how the piece was broken. The moon is cool, but it was just a bummer to not be able to use the app portion because the flat piece was broken...seems like a bad design to be reliant on that portion for the app to work.

Well made, not the cheap plastic garbage you can get from local target toy aisle. I did the comparison between the model and NASA pictures as they stated in the item description, I have to say they did quite a good job recreating the details. Thumbs up.

It looks good in a General representation of what the moon physically looks like but it's not painted or printed accurately enough to get a higher rating

I know the reviews were bad but my boy friend is a big Astro nerd and I really want to gift him something Astro related for the coming holiday season. I thought I might be an exception and receive a decent product, but am eventually disappointed.Don’t buy. They sent me the item without wrapping box, and the moon box showed wear and tear, with missing parts. There are scratches and paint on the small booklet that looks like someone been browsing it for a few times, and I highly doubt that someone already registered this product online already because I wasn’t able to. In one word, they shipped me a defective and potentially a returned item (probably from the other reviewer who reported the flat piece is broken). How shameful.

Bought it as a gift for my friend's birthday. Amazing details, every crater is created and distributed exactly as you can see from NASA picture, plus an AR app to play with. Now I'm thinking to get one for myself.
