GARDMAN BLACK STEEL HANGING PEANUT FEEDER GARDEN WILD BIRDS NEW

Hi all. I've had this hanging outside since June. Took it down today to clean it. As you can see from the picture it's in excellent condition so no complaints on the build quality or durability so far. We'll have to see what it looks like in another four months after a winter outside. If you have squirrels visiting this feeder then you may want to consider making an easier food source available as I think they'll be able chew through the mesh given enough time. It's fairly easy to open to refill. Not much else to say.

Good purchase

Great quality but a rather large squirrel managed to open up the steel cage!!! Pliers needed to sort out and all good now.

This feeder has almost everything I want, a large hood to keep the food dry and a small try to catch most of the food, although it has drainage holes.Made of stainless steel so it wont rust. 4 stars because the base doesn't appear to detach, which would make cleaning easier. I'm using it for the small suet pellets the birds love so much.

The lid has become loose after clearing

Very sturdy, the squirrels won’t be able to chew the bottom the hanging ring, or lift the lid to dive in head first.

Good design, strong and sturdy. Wide lid keeps the peanuts dry and the bottom tray can be used as a perch.

Very good quality, easy to assemble and to fill
