Purchased to replace two other products, streamlining the kitchen in the process (it is small) It met all my requirements with the exception of how to store the blades.Used a magnetic knife holder for the wall to store the blades on.

I bought this food processor to replace a Hamilton Beach food processor that had served me well for about a decade that was fiinally on its last legs. This one, on the other hand, lasted me only a few days!I noticed immediately that this product had very weak processing/blending power. However, since it was sufficient, albeit barely so, for my basic cooking needs, I was planning to live with it. Then, just a few days after I had purchased it, the black pieces in the handle broke and fell out of position, preventing the container from locking into place for processing. I did everything I could to snap them back into position, without success. Finally I gave up and am planning to buy another Hamilton Beach product.

Great for large batches. I used for a smaller batch, and it didn't mix/chop as well as I would have liked. When I double the recipe, it will surely do the job.

Worked one time and then want come on

This processor does a great job at mincing meat and makes quick work of veggies. Didn't give it 5 stars because when you are cleaning it there is a gap in the shaft that gets food stuck in and the first few times of cleaning I didn't notice it so food got built up in it.

When I was growing up Mom had one of those old hand "organ grinder" processors, You would bolt it to the table, change the inside blades depending on what you were working with, and then stuff it in the top, push it down with a round wooden block as you turned the handle, and the result came out the front and you would catch the result in a steel bowl. She made meals for all 6 of us this way - after working outside on our ranch!She would have LOVED this 2.5 Liter 14 cup 600-watt food processor, as it prepares food for cooking in a matter of a few minutes. What's most impressive besides the capacity and power is the accessories that come with it. You get three cutting/chopping discs, a kneading/Blending attachment, a dual chopping blade, and a spatula for removing food from the chamber.So far I have made:-Salsa for my burritos-Sweet potato French Fries-Ground Chicken for my "Cluck Burgers"-Ground beef for New Orleans "Dirty Rice"Cleanup is a snap, as you just rinse it out and run the chambers and blades through a dishwasher short-cycle.(No - not the base, of course!)OVERALL - The nice thing about this processor is that it will encourage you to try recipes you might not normally tackle if you have an active and busy life. It's been a Godsend for me now that I'm ramping up training for the 2024 season. Kitchen Staple Keeper!!
