Seriously Solid Headset for the Money!
This is my review for the ARKARTECH blue and black gaming headset.PACKAGING : Pretty standard shipping as far as these cheaper headsets go. A colorful box with images of the headset on display. Once you open the box you'll find the headset, a splitter cable so you can use the headset on a PC, and a manual. Overall the shipping is nothing special but definitely isn't a con.DESIGN : The design of this headset is mediocre at best. I don't know why but most of these cheaper Chinese headsets are HUGE! While this isn't really a con as far as comfort goes, they do look pretty goofy on your head. They're made out of a pretty cheap plastic, and the slides for the headphones do not feel good at all. The colors are pretty good, but I have one BIG gripe with the design, THE STUPID RGB. Why in the world would you have a color scheme consistent throughout the entire headset, then just mess it up with an RGB light you can't set to a specific color. The RGB light fades throughout the rainbow, and most of the colors just don't look good with blue. It's annoying and really increases the silly look of the headset IMO. While I did list a lot of cons, you've got to factor in the very cheap price, and with that I don't think you're getting gypped at all, but I really don't like those colors.COMFORT : The comfort on these is very good, I have worn them for hours at a time, for a few days and they have not been uncomfortable in the slightest. The padding is good for the money and the earcups don't touch your ears at all. In this situation I figure the light plastic actually plays itself as a pro as they don't press down on your head despite their weight. Overall I am VERY satisfied with the comfort of these.SOUND : The sound gets a meh from me. It's clear, and good for watching videos, and the stereo sound works well for games like CS:GO where sound is important, but as far as music goes, its really lacking in the low end, as most of these cheaper headsets do. Overall the sound is satisfactory, but nothing more.MIC QUALITY : This is what impressed me the most. I don't know what it is about these cheap Chinese headsets, but their mics are SO GOOD. I have tried the mics of many, much more expensive headsets, and they let me down time and time again, but these are clear, with low static. These work great for Discord, Skype, game chats and the likes.OVERALL : Despite me listing all of these cons, I still give this headset a 5 star rating because there isn't anything that it does poorly that can't be overlooked by the price tag. Yes, its built with cheaper plastic and doesn't sound outstanding, but its only $27. With that price point, it does have quite a few pros too, like the comfort and the mic. These are a solid buy for someone looking to get a gaming headset at an affordable price.

Great Headphones!
(there's literally SO much to say about these great headphones)-I'm a PC gamer so it's awesome that these work for laptop/towers, but it also came with separate attachments to put on the ends for any console (I don't have them pictures since I forgot where I put them already lol!)-first the speakers are great and the noise cancelling is astounding, I had headphones before these, but these are definitley better at cancelling noise out-there is microphone capabilities to talk to people-the headphones have one long (LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG- look at the sofa pic) chord. LOL! I guess thats more for console players who like to move around in their chairs or stand up sometimes? It has the knob to change volume, it also has speaker "settings" so to speak- like you can flip up or down so people can hear you through the mic.-the end of the chord has two separate directions- one goes into the sound, the other goes in for lights if you want it, I usually keep it out of the port but put them in for the photos to show you that they actually change colors!so yeah-pros: noise cancelling, comfortable to wear, capability to go into laptop/tower/consoles, separate knob to change volume, microphone, mic "off/on" capability, can control sound/lights separately, I like bulky headphones if you don't you might not like them as they are quite bulkycons: too long for me, my cat likes to play with it when I forget to wrap them up, but would be useful for other types of peopleneutrals: light color changing capabilities on headphones makes no difference whether I like them or not

3.5/5. Acceptable, you get what you paid for.
These headphones serve their purpose as a basic, cheap gaming headset. For someone with a larger head (like me) they start to hurt after a few hours of wearing them. They're big and clunky, pretty lightweight, but the plastic they're made of is rigid and even when fully extended still puts the squeeze on your ears. The foam is not very comfortable and very cheap, I can already see small splits a few months in. Sound quality is perfectly fine, nothing special but I don't feel like it's detracting from my experience. Friends who have heard my mic say it's a bit muffled, which is less great. Love the long cord, feels and looks quite durable and is so long I can leave my bedroom and get to the fridge without knocking over my tower. Finally, the lights look good (neat logo), but you have no control over them, and they frequently de-sync so that the sides are two different colors at any one time. If you are looking for a cheap headset you intend to eventually replace, this will work fine.
