tandoori spice
This is a nice spice blend. It has a strong scent and a more mild flavor, perhaps best suited for those who like Indian food without the hot spice.I used it on tofu and roasted vegetables, and I'm sure I'll find uses for it in lots of other dishes too.

Super Fresh! NY SPICE SHOP Kibbeh Seasoning Mix Middle East Spice MIx
You'll smell the fresh, wonderful aroma as soon as you open the outer package, before even opening the spices! This beautiful spice blend is made of Cumin, Allspice, Baharat, Chili, Cinnamon, Marjoram, Cloves, Paprika & Cayenne Pepper. It's mixed to perfection, so you don't need to be a chef to master a great Kibbeh recipe. The spice blend is packaged in a heavy foil resealable bag to stay fresh, too.I used this for a vegetarian Kibbeh, and it was really delicious. This spice blend would also be delicious on chicken, and other proteins. If you're new to Middle Eastern cooking, or not, I really recommend you try this! It's a great value for 6 ounces, and the flavors are a perfect blend of spicy, sweet, and savory.

Savory seasoning!
This is some tasty stuff. I made this using ground bison rather than lamb and it turned out savory while, at the same time, not overpowering. Basically, I just made this like tiny meatloaves and replaced all my usual seasonings with this Kofta blend. The taste is a little different to me, but it borders on being a good general purpose flavor so I can see using it in other capacities, too. Would definitely be good over charcoal or open flame!

Perfect blend to add to lamb, or beef!
My husband loves trying new recipes, spices and just generally being adventurous in his culinary pursuits. Me, not so much, I tend to have the palate and cravings of a 5 year old. When he said he wanted to attempt Kofta blend on, gasp, lamb, my inner child rebelled. He finally got me to at least try it and I am forever changed. I was afraid the sumac and turmeric would be too much, but was looking forward to the traditional garlic, salt and onion part of the blend. The lamb was tender and the spices just right, not overpowering and didn't leave a lingering taste that I felt I needed to wash out. Needless to say he has ordered 6 or 7 different spice blends from NY Spice since the great kefta kabob dinner of 2023 and I have high.hopes for all of them!

Fresh, potent spice mix perfect for simmered vegetables or to use in place of curry powder
This spice mix came in a resealable pouch and the moment I tore it open, the fresh fragrance of spices filled the air. This is a mix of spices that will give any dish a zesty Middle Eastern flavor with just a bit of warmth and sweetness. Would be great to use in place of curry powder for vegetarian curries, in addition to falafel. It is not too spicy.I combined this in a slow cooker with some broth, salt, pepper, rinsed lentils, and small pieces of cauliflower, cooked on low for 8 hours, and had it over rice. Fragrant and delicious! Since it is a falafel spice mix, I plan to cook it with chickpeas next but just had lentils on hand this time. You get a lot in the bag- enough to fill several regular spice bottles you can get from the grocery store. Looking forward to trying lots of different recipes with this.

Didn't like
I've never had this spice blend before so I'm giving it 4 stars as I don't know how it should taste. It smelled very fragrant which usually means that the spices are fresh. However, I just didn't like the flavor. The flavor didn't taste spicy or very strong. It was a bit bland, which didn't make sense bc of how it smells and all of the spices that are in it.
