based on other reviews, I was concerned about the size, but this is large enough to easily accept a pork loin. it probably won't do a large roast, but it's more than sufficient for my purposes.

The media could not be loaded. enough for a long time, soft, bought and forgotten, it’s profitable to buy more - a large skein lasts a long time, 50 meters

It was supposed to be used with up to 6" diameter pieces. In practical terms it is up to 4", 3 1/2" in most cases.I had a 4" diameter peace I was able to fit in, but it was so difficult I would not try it again and limit its usage to 3 1/2" max.
