Fun lamp, but one screw was stripped
This is a fun lamp, and perfect as a reading lamp over my sofa. The base is nice and heavy so it won't tip over. However, the little screw in the top section of "bamboo" was stripped, so the top curved bamboo section and shade/bulb part are just sort of sitting on the rest. I pulled the cord as tight as I could through the base to try to hold it all together to compensate for this. It makes me nervous, but at least that part isn't heavy if it falls. So far, so good...

Poor quality
This lamp looked so cute in the listing and I was so excited to give it to my daughter. Ugh, it's not great. The instructions are poor, though I knew how to assemble it from extensive previous lamp assembly experience lol. But, with the impressively poor instructions, my daughter struggled. She had to facetime me and I walked her through it. But it even came with a unnecessarily complicated looking tool with zero explanation. Two of the three screws don't fit and just sit in there, so the lamp pole is kinda just sitting together and not secured. It's fine. But for $98, this is crap. $30 would make me feel like the quality was more reflected in the price. The lamp pole is metal and looks pretty cheesy. All around this is a hard pass.
